Sonny is excellent but the Lexington location was lacking. Out of lots of foods which was frustrating especially with kids

Fantastic barbecue! The service was phenomenal and very good on our pocketbook! I highly recommend the meat plate and definitely the bbq baby back ribs!! Washes down wonderfully with their $2 chilled mug beer on tap!! We will definitely be visiting again!

Awesome food and service. the only negative is we are traveling and arrived at night. there is no sign on the building other than a lit up red 68. we honestly thought sonny's was replaced by a place called 68. we were happy to find out sonny's was there and 68 was the year they were founded. Our server Melissa was the best. cheerful and attentive. Food was great. we shared a sampler platter that came with 2 sides. it was way more than enough for both of us. It had pulled chicken, ribs, brisket and sliced pork as well as garlic bread, and baked potato and beans as sides. All for $20 !! great place. light up your sign and you will be golden

The employees are great and very courteous, the service is excellent, the food is hot, fresh and fast from the kitchen. Well worth the visit if you've never been and the price per person or in bulk is very reasonable for the quality and serving sizes.
