TERRIBLE experience at this location. We love Sonny's and look forward to eating at many different locations when we travel south. NOT this time.This location was ridiculously bright, not the usual warm atmosphere. Our ribs were delivered cold and we asked her to take them back. Instead of bringing back the whole meal hot, she left us with the rest of our food to get cold. When we needed assistance, there was no one to be found. Certainly, there was no visible presence of a manager. SO disappointing ?

All the food is good and the people are great! Saturday kids eat free with paying adult.
Loaded tots were luke warm at best, tables covered in dirty dishes also took awhile to get seated. And if you serve meat that tough and dry, please invest in real silverware so there is a hope to cut it.

Sonny's is never a go to restaurant but I do entire it. I few days away I was in the mood brisket I came to Sonny's BBQ. I usually order the sliced brisket. The brisket is mediocre. It's not great, but it's not bad. The slides are not good and the drive thru is always slow. The food is never hot. I don't understand the time it take to receive my meal. I recommend going into the restaurant.

The food here was 'da bomb'! My sister and I had the pleasure of dining here on 2/24/2024 and we could not have received service any better than that which was bestowed upon us, by the wonderful staff at Sonny's.We conducted what I will call a dry run, so we could get our timing down for the FLUFFY show that we will be attending next month (3/24) at Rupp Arena. Of course we will once again be dining here and partaking of the wonderful food and staff. I am so looking forward to the fantastic tastes coming from Sonny's kitchen. I am a 'rib guy' and the sweet and smokey St Louis ribs were just out of this world GOOD!In looking at my register receipt, our server was Angel. She along with several others, did an absolutely wonderful and outstanding job with our order. We were constantly being checked up on, not only by Angel but with other staff at the restaurant. Everyone wanted to make sure that we had a wonderful experience, and they certainly hit it out of the ballpark. I am so looking forward to my return trip in March.Thank you Sonny's staff, for all that you do!!!!
Always great food, and friendly service. As a senior citizen, I can't have spicy barbecue anymore, but I still love the taste. Here, they give a nice selection of sauces, so everyone in the party can have their favorite. And the best sweet tea, anywhere.
