40 minutes waiting on two bagels and two coffees. Truly painful experience. No apology. Coffee tasted almost rancid? Out of one of the bagels we ordered. Not enough cream cheese. Hate to give such a poor review but it was legitimately awful in every way.

We have been going to Southland for several years. Certainly seeing a drop in quality and service over the last year which is disappointing as it really hit or miss, some days its awesome others its terrible!

Just left Southland. Tried calling in advance to make certain they weren’t sold out. No answer. Came in and ordered, while there was a basket full of bagels. Placed my order and waited 15 minutes. People came in after me and ordered, had their food made before me, used up all of the bagels, and then called me to the counter to say they were sold out.
Pretty certain my order should have been made first, before fulfilling an order for someone after me, and then just saying “sorry…we’re sold out”.
Not the first time this happened.

We came down from Morehead KY for a doctor appointment. I saw a review from "Helen" who claimed to be from NY and declared these bagels possibly the best she ever had. I thought probably a bogus interview but it is no lie. These are in fact the best bagels I've ever had and I too am from the hallowed bagel land of NY. Delicious!

Awesome place! We got bagels, coffee, and a half dozen for the road. Very good and efficient service despite how busy it was when we went, quality was good, atmosphere is casual and I liked the art pieces for sale on the wall. Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Lexington!
