got my order wrong asked for a caramel latte and got a regular latte

The Starbucks in the Willy T library is a staple piece to the University of Kentucky. There are a variety of drinks they offer and a large seating selection. While their drinks are always great quality, majority of the time they’re sold out of a lot of drinks. Specifically, everyday for a week when I tried to order a pumpkin chai, they’ve been sold out, forcing me to either get another drink or not get anything at all. But, when do actually have a drink I want, a lot of the time the wait is very long. I’ve waited up to 20 minutes just for a drink before. Overall, I will continue going to Starbucks no matter the situation. Theres a lot of students at the University of Kentucky so there’s a high demand for their drinks. Their drinks are high quality and it being located in the Willy T library means its easy access.

The Starbucks inside the Willy T Library is one of my favorite spots on campus. Being that this is the largest Starbucks on a college campus, it is always busy no matter what time of day you go. Because of that, the wait times can get pretty long especially between 12-4 p.m. during peak hours of the day. As an avid Starbucks drinker, I still think it is worth it if you need a caffeine boost while studying or if you have time in between classes. The seating options are great and there are plenty of tables, couches, and comfy chairs that make it easy (or in my case harder) to get work done. It's super convenient for students since it's on Central Campus and it's the perfect place to meet up with friends or do some homework. Even though it does get crowded, I can see the employees are trying their best to keep up when the rush comes in to make all of their customers happy. Overall, I would definitely recommend this Starbucks to anyone looking for a comfortable spot to relax during the day.

The Starbucks at Willy T is probably one of the busiest spots on campus, but it’s also one of my favorites. It’s the perfect place to grab a drink before studying or hanging out with friends between classes. The line is always long in the mornings, but the baristas are so nice and fast that it never takes too long. I usually get an iced caramel macchiato or a vanilla latte, and they always make it just right. The atmosphere is super cozy and full of energy, with students talking, studying, or rushing to class. I love sitting by the windows with my drink and laptop because it’s the perfect mix of productive and relaxing. Since it’s right inside the library, it’s super convenient for study sessions or late-night caffeine runs. It’s honestly a huge part of the campus experience and one of my favorite spots at UK.

The workers are super friendly, even during rushes, and they somehow keep the line moving fast. My go-to order is a pink drink or a caramel ribbon crunch frappuccino, especially when I need something sweet before studying. The space feels really inviting with a mix of people chatting and others quietly doing homework. It’s also a great place to meet up for group projects or take a quick break from classes. I love the smell of coffee that fills the whole area, and it just makes the library feel more alive. Even though it’s always busy, it has a comforting, familiar vibe that makes it my favorite place to refuel on campus.

The William T. Library Starbucks is one of my favorite places to go study! Though the line, along with the wait time, may be long, I see it as a positive to study and work on school work a little longer! You can truly tell the area was purely designed for students to hang out and study, whether alone or in groups. I really tried to emphasize that with my photos. I showed the areas you can study at and hang out all around the shop. There is always space and the majority of the people in the Starbucks are studying. This personally makes me feel more motivated when I see a numerous amount of people around me studying. I love the dim lighting, it helps me stay longer without getting a headache like fluorescent lighting normally does to me. I enjoy the staff, you can really tell they’re trying their best and when they’re having a rush they have certain people for each job. Two are bringing out the mobile orders, several people are making the drinks, and there’s two people at the register.

I am a big fan of this Starbucks for many reasons. As a student it is in a very convenient spot right in campus and in the best library. Whether I am getting a drink to study or walking over to get my morning coffee, they never disappoint! When I first came here, I was frustrated with the wait time and heavy traffic but as I kept coming, I have learned that ordering ahead is the way to go or else you will not have a positive experience. Aside from the delicious coffee and drinks there is a large amount of seating for studying or just hanging out. The environment is very upbeat yet relaxing at times. I am always very pleased with the welcoming and friendly staff. I definitely recommend coming to this Starbucks location BUT definitely order your stuff ahead of time or you will be waiting a long time!

I spend a lot of time at this specific Starbucks, the scenery is very calming and not as packed as the other ones on campus. You also can use your flex dollars in this one which is perfect because I have so much to spend, and it’s basically free lol.The lighting inside this Starbucks is also very pretty and aesthetically pleasing. The customer service is always amazing and the baristas are so sweet, they always get my order PERFECT! My go to things on their menu, the double smoked bacon croissant and since the fall menu has come back my drink is a grande iced pumpkin chai, add four pumps of pumpkin to the chai and cinnamon powder, it's the true love of my life. When the fall menu goes away I will return to a grande Carmel ribbon crunch extra Carmel. It’s also connected to the Willy t young library so that’s a plus you get to drink coffee and study. I always have a 10/10 experience!!

As a student at the University of Kentucky, I love coming to the Starbucks at the William T Young Library to study, relax, and hang out with friends. I have been to this Starbucks numerous times since starting my first semester at the University of Kentucky and I have had no complaints. Every time I go in there are always bunches of other students grabbing a quick bite to eat in between classes or catching up on homework on their day off. Every drink I have ordered has come out fresh and made perfectly. This Starbucks has always had great service every time I have attended, especially for how busy it can get during the day. The atmosphere can get a little loud due to the amount of people inside, but that has never bothered me. The environment is so comforting with the soft lighting and relaxing seating areas. This Starbucks is one of my favorite places on campus, and I hope it will continue to be for the rest of my college career.

Probably has the worst service on the planet these dudes just can’t do their job.

I ordered my drink at 10:08 this morning. Just the perfect time to get to my church which is right across the road by 10:30. However I did not get my coffee til 10:48. I was embarrassed as I had to walk into church 20 minutes late because this sucky Starbucks couldn’t make my one drink. Instead they stood there talking about their crappy weeks and all the stuff they have to do when they are keeping me from all the stuff I have to do. When I went up and asked them where my drink was it was just sitting there on the counter and they were working around it. They said they “forgot” about it and were “getting to it”. That is unacceptable and their “forgetfulness” caused me to be late. Not only did they take 40 minutes to make my one drink but they made it with normal milk instead of oatmilk like I asked. I am very allergic to dairy so this was not just a mess up this was a dietary issue. Left me very mad and I will likely not go back to this Starbucks. How can you not make one simple drink correctly or in a timely manner?

I would honestly rather kill myself with a claw hammer than ever go here again. I ordered my coffee at 10:08 and didn’t get my coffee until 10:48. Everyone in line behind me got their coffee before me because they “forgot” to make it. If I could I would give this place a 0 star, never come here.

Ordered a the new matcha latte with lavender cream that they have a big ole sign for, no lavender cream. Oh well, I got strawberry instead, waited 30 mins for a cup of green frothy milk with a spoonful sized drop of strawberry foam. Literally zero matcha flavor just green milk. Thankfully the strawberry cream made it slightly enjoyable to finish

Very lazy staff. I had an issue with my mobile order being made incorrectly so I got back in line, and watched 7 employees (not an exaggeration) just standing around chatting, none of them paying ANY attention to their customers.

My entire order was messed up. The grilled cheese turned into two things of bread stuck together (it's just taking it out the package and heating it up), the bagel was just warmed, and my Carmel and vanilla macchiato with sweet foam was plain milk. When I asked for it to be fixed, I was told to "drink it down" so they didn't have to remake it. I work at a very similar job to theirs, so it was no point to make a giant scene about it.It's overall a sweet place to study and get schoolwork done, but I don't think I'd order from there again.

Good drinks, delicious. however. It takes a really long time to order a drink + the staff are good, but not all are good, and the price isn't great...ㅜㅜㅜㅜ Still, it's not the worst, so I give it 3 stars in good conscience.
