Don't know about the food or atmosphere. My first time to this restaurant and not a good one. Went to order a shake through the drive through. I had a simple request to add either chocolate or fudge sauce and was told they don't have any. So I asked if they had chocolate chips they could put on there. The woman taking my order didn't understand me. So I told her I would just come inside to order. I decided to leave instead if they can't understand a simple request then why go in.

Stopped by around 11 pm to get some food and had to place order with a kiosk which I don't perfer but is simple enough, but what I don't like is that they ask for tips on the kiosk (crazy). My food took a few minutes and they just set it on the counter and said this is yours. At least they could have said hello and thank you! Customer Service is mo more at this establishment! Better off driving around to drive thru

Stopped by Steak and Shake in Hamburg early afternoon. Not too busy. ALL orders are done on the kiosk now. Which is very confusing if you aren't used to ordering...especially if you want to add a milkshake to your meal (instead of soda). Very helpful server showed me how to accommodate my order. Tasty double cheeseburger and shoestring fries. Great strawberry milkshake.
Always love their garlic burgers ? and u like the buns that are used with their burger sandwiches in general. Idk why but I do lol.

YES! YES! YES!!!!!!! This is my new to go to spot! The burgers are made FRESH - COOK TO ORDER. The onion rings are crispy and my drink is ice cold. They are beating McDonald's by a LONG SHOT!! Stop by and give them a try, you will not be disappointed with the food!!!!!!!! P.S the day shift seems to be a bit more friendly :)
