Love this spot! Cozy decor, friendly staff. I was worried about parking but we found a spot on the street.

My dad enjoyed his “Kentucky classic Burgoo” (stew, that was a first for us, as we’re not local).

Desserts looked great, but we had no room to try them. Next time I’ll be going for the chocolate bourbon pie.

Note: they automatically add 20% for service, so take note of that when settling the bill. I had seen a notice posted on the wall, so I wasn’t bothered by the inclusion.

Food was bland plus they automatically add a 20% tip. Good luck finding parking too as they have none.

I had the bison burger and the mushroom burger here, and both were phenomenal. I highly recommend them. The only slight critique is that I wish they would make fries instead of the potato chips they provide.

The atmosphere is cute but that was about it. The gentleman who waited on us was not knowledgeable about the food and was less than willing to serve. They charge you an automatic 20% gratuity so I guess the staff doesn’t feel a need to work for their wage. We ordered the chocolate chip pancakes which was the special and they were a very small portion size but fairly tasty. We also ordered fried green tomatoes which were terrible and the sauce I asked for cost twice as much as the tomatoes and was not disclosed until I looked at the check. The grits were nice but dry. Overall I would not recommend.

Came here on the recommendation of a local and am glad I did! They have a lovely patio and delicious food. My only regret is that I don’t have time to come back and try more of their food.

Excellent food. Local specialties are on the menu which is very cool for visitors who aren't accustomed to Burgoo and have Pimento sandwiches not often available. Very tender meat had to be slow cooked for hours. We returned the next day to have again before leaving Lexington.

Gotta love a joint that doesn't think vegans just eat sad leaves. Amazing vegan options. Cool little joint. I'll be back.
