RACISTS!!!!!!The workers here are disrespectful and disregard you if you are Black. I experienced racism here from one of the workers. I placed a online order. Waited an additional 15 min at the restaurant and asked how long before my order woukd be ready. I didnt get an answer. I asked about my order 3 times and all I was told they had problem with online orders. I am continuing watching people get food to their table and the line is getting longer with others waiting for to go orders. Finally I was told that I can dispute online. Not one time did anyone say let me get them to make your order, they just let me stand there waiting. Next thing I know when the white young lady walked up, she was told we will make your order right now. So then the same guy now is trying to find out whats going on with others that were waiting and never attempted to help me. Racism at its finest. So I got very upset and called his racist self out on what he had just done. I stopped a waitress there and finally got my money back and left.

I am still very upset with the blatant disrespect and racism in my face I just received. There is absolutely no excuse that can be given.

Terrible customer service I waited for over 10 minutes before getting help I addressed two staff members and they ignored me. The third staff member. I’m assuming was the manager intentionally bumped me in my arm she hit me pretty hard and I am feeling pain and will probably require medical attention. I did let another staff member know about the incident and I don’t appreciate it. She did not say sorry there was also witnesses that seeing this take place.

One of my favorite sushi places in town! Reasonably priced, great food, and they have several all you can eat options as well! Staff are always great and the atmosphere is good too. Definitely coming back

this is my favorite restaurant of all time, i absolutely love their options. portion sizes are extremely generous, quality is unmatched, everything is cooked fresh when you order. delicious, i crave this place at least once a week. the all you can eat is the best!

I would have given it a perfect score, except I ordered the steak hibachi and my steak was rather tough. Either I was served a bad cut or they don't buy the greatest quality meat. Other than that the service and sushi were exemplary. Friendly, fast and high quality sushi.

We were a party of 7 on a Thursday night around 7pm. The restaurant was not really busy. Our waitress was friendly but service over all was slow. Six of us ordered off the hibachi menu. Cooking on the Hibachi grill is not done in the dining area but in the kitchen. 3 This was a disappointment but we still ordered. All the food had a good flavor but the meat was over cooked. Four of us ordered steak and the waitress said the cook usually makes the steak medium but we asked for medium rare and she made a note on our ticket. All our steaks came out well done and chewy. The food had a cook flavor just not cooked to medium rare. We told the waitress and she talked with the cook about this and they decided to give us 20% off the total bill. We appreciated the gesture but would have preferred our steak medium rare but we appreciated the effort to fix the issue. Also, we were never asked if we wanted refills on our waters. We were short silverware and we let the waitress know but after not getting it I went to find some. Plus side, the had gluten free soy sauce! The restaurant looked clean. We sat out in the patio area. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Have had many a great experience at Sumo and have really enjoyed it. I haven't been jn a while and just got very turned off by my last trip. Walked in for lunch, was seated, and then just waited. 10+ minutes of wait staff walking by without even taking my drink order. It wasn't too busy but I didn't have a problem being patient until someone else came in, sat right next to me, and got their order taken immediately. I just got up and left. Hopefully this is just a one-off and isn't indicative of the level of service they have now.
