The most authentic Japanese restaurant in Lexington. Everything taste good and the prices are pretty fair. Servers are always pretty good and nice. My personal favorite is their Friday special Katsu curry.

The food was pretty good, the beef was a little tough. The service was great, they provided recommendations and was helpful in the selection. When I was sitting and waiting for my take out order, I noticed the atmosphere is noisy around dinner time.

An extremely transactional experience with okay food.
I came here on a Tuesday night - there were open seats all over the place. Their sign asks that you don't seat yourself (even at bars) - so I patiently waited for someone to seat me. Multiple servers and folks saw me and just continued on with no comment. Finally I was seated at the end of the sushi bar by their server entrance even though there were so many open spots.
I ordered and food came out quick. But my server literally just popped down my food and walked away. I ordered a chef's special and so I was expecting some sort of explanation of what was put together.
The food was okay. Not amazing, not bad. Truly unremarkable.
Not sure why you would come here when there are other sushi spots at a similar price point with a staff that actually interacts with you.

The food was amazing. We had one slight problem when a member of staff got our order but accidentally didn't place my boyfriend's sushi order. So my food came and I ate it all up and his never did, but they were incredibly kind and apologetic and even gave us a free, incredibly big bowl of ice cream. It was amazing though.

We had an outstanding dining experience with our family during our night in Lexington. The food was absolutely remarkable, boasting a diverse selection and top-notch quality in every dish. Without a doubt, this will be a must-visit spot for us whenever we're in the area!

Quality of food has gone down the drain compare to past. Stoped by after yoga class to pick up something to go. After I ordered at the cashier told her I will sit at the side sushi section as soon as I sat down a waitstaff told me I cannot sit there so I changed where I was sitting then another man approached me told me he is the manager and told me I cannot sit there so asked the cashier that took my order what was going on she said you can sit at that area. I ordered about 50 dollars to go with 20% tip but was extremely unhappy. Both men were not Japanese but the cashier was so she was very polite. Rude manager brought my to go order and I left with such a bad taste in my mouth. I wear nice workout cloths so I am sure he knew I was not homeless but he treated me as such. I will never go back to this place threw away half of the food greasy and low quality. I have been to Japan their food is nothing like what I ordered from this restaurant. I do not recommend this Restaurant.
Amazing flavor w/ every dish that touched the table. This was my first layover here in Lexington, KY. I was so excited when my entire working flt crew was game to get together for a nice dinner. It's a true rarity especially for me to be able to enjoy a sit down meal to end a day of flying during a scheduled layover. I'm definitely looking forward to future visits to try more delicious sushi and appetizers.
