A few blocks out of the center, but easy to find. Two rooms packed with locals; one room with aircon that was just what I needed. The LP guide recommended the fried shrimp, so decided on that. The food came pretty quickly with a huge mound of shrimp perfectly cooked! I’d definitely recommend this place! Good food, good vibe and friendly staff.

Not a lot of dining options in Chetumal so we decided to come here due to high ratings. The setting is quite casual but they do offer air conditioning inside for customers. I would describe it as a fast food place (Although it does do table service) The horchata was really good but we ordered two tortas which were fairly tasteless and the meat quite soggy. Overall I didnt rate the place.

We were on our way to the airport so we need a fast service place and definitely this surprised in speed and taste. We tried the camarones pil pil which we loved. They have this garlic and spicy flavor which tastes so great Also had pil pil, tikin xic fish tacos which were sooo delicious. If you like chile, they have this super hot habanero sauce which is great. Also had pulpa the jaiba and more camarones pil pil tacos which make a great finish for our trip

We arrive at 5:15 pm there was only a couple of tables with customers. The guacamole was flavorless seems they only smashed the avocado no salt no lemon no onions just bland. My wife ordered the jaiba dish which was as well flavorless she also ordered two shrimp tacos and the shrimp was over cooked. I ordered octopus Al pil pil it was supposed to be spicy there was not any type of chili peppers on it or on the sauce super sour and I also ordered the smoked oisters salad it was awful. My wife ordered fried bananas. It seemed they have used the oil for the whole month and not cleaned any crumbs from previous dishes that they had fried in the same oil at 5:45 the waiter came to our table to tell us that we needed to hurry up because they were closing at 6 pm . I will not recommend anyone to come eat at this place horrible horrible horrible food and the service was not any better,

I was very impressed with this place. They follow the hygiene rules and I felt very safe whilst there. I had a the Filete a la Tikin Xic which was fresh and delicious followed by the Flan. I see someone said this place is overpriced in the reviews and would prefer the street Tacos ?...Well you get what you pay for and I found it to be excellent value for money. If you like street food go there! I prefer to enjoy my food in comfort personally!
