My favorite Indian restaurant!!! They have the best Saag and naan in town by far!!! And also the best masala tea. They are always so kind and giving. I have loved every dish I have gotten there. Not just my favorite in Lexington, my favorite EVER! Definitely try them!!!!

Ordered 2 dishes here for takeout, for a dish that costs $17 (paneer) I got 6 tiny blocks of paneer. The restaurant knew they could cheapen out on portion sizes and get away with it because it’s uber eats. Food tastes very mediocre, not worth it for the high costs.

Order from literally anywhere else.

Food was more sweet test less. Poor service starter and main course are served together.

Authentic from the moment you pull up! I love this place! Food is always great and fresh, which means sometimes you need to wait for it. It’s so worth it! Everything about the atmosphere makes the whole experience unique and memorable. I highly recommend trying it if you’re even remotely interested in getting Indian food.

My daughter and I were in Lex and just googled Indian restaurants, and it was way after the dinner rush, 30 min before they closed. The food was delicious, and service was great (even though they had to be annoyed). I recommend

I ordered a takeout while I was driving from KY to Virginia. The food was awesome. The lady,Saritaji who handed over the food was very courteous. Food was authentic dhaba style and tasted great. I would have stayed a day more in Kentucky to just eat the food there. I ordered dal makhani, paneer tikla masala and malai kofta. Thir garlic naan was something. Food quantity was enough for 4 people and we had leftover. Can't stop writing more.

Great Punjabi food.

We tried their chicken saag which comes with rice, chicken tandoori which also come with rice, an extra naan. We also tried their Indian chai. The saag was great, a Punjabi speciality. The tandoori sizzler looked great and it is served with a curry that you pour on top, a unique thing to Punjabi dishes. However the tandoori seemed stale, seemed like it was cooked few hours earlier. The chai was great.

The ambience is good. There is ample parking on the back side. There was no wait time.

The restaurant features lots of photos especially those of the Taj Mahal which seems to have inspired its name.

There is a ramp for handicap.

Other then the tandoori, this was a good dinner.

I wish if i could give them zero star bcoz their food was disgusting. Looks like they never changed that oil which they use to make parantha please don’t waste your money and time. I will not recommend to anyone. Please check there bathroom as well. Their food smells like they cooked that food two weeks ago. No taste only waste of your time and money ? .

Never had their food, but i felt uncomfortable by the looks they gave me when i showed up when they were closed. I was basically told we are closed in a rude way. Not everyone knows your hours for Indian restaurants. Be more polite when you let someone know you don't open until certain times of the day. Anyway, i chose to start going to a different Indian restaurant where i feel more welcomed.
