Nice hotel, quite clean. Large bathroom. Docked one star for no free breakfast - that was a surprise. I didn't think to check that prior to booking as usually hotels at this price point offer free breakfast. Apparently it's standard policy for Courtyards for some reason.

Best hotel customer service I've ever had. The hotel room was fine enough, bed was exceptionally comfortable. The hot tub was broken..The customer service was one of a kind. This hotel, especially the morning driver went above and beyond in many ways. I wish these folks could be cloned and should be training others.

The CM is about a 5-10 minute drive from the airport. In a good location for overnighting the airport. Shopping and restaurants next door. Ample parking. Great front desk people. Room was large, clean and warm. Especially with the cold spell that has come back. I think they serve breakfast in the lobby, I left too early to catch a plane. Very small bars of soap. Shower has the liquid soap in wall mounted canisters.

Several items that are not conducive to a overpriced hotel. 1. No airport shuttle service after 9pm. Airport closes at midnight. Arrived after 10pm, no shuttle service. Advertised as hotel shuttle. 2. Loud and drunk people in the lobby after midnight. Loud, rude and lasted through 1am. (See #5) 3. Room on ground floor with spotlight at the window. Closed Curtain to block light, too noisy on ground floor. 4. Poorly stocked refreshments. Too expensive. 5. Security drives to the front door, stops for 3 minutes then drives off. Does not get out of the car or checks with staff about security issues.

The hotel has super nice front desk people, and overall, the hotel has a nice presence. However, there was only one operating elevator and it was filthy - which didn't give a very good impression going up to your room. Based on the cleanliness of the room, I would suggest that Marriott isn't totally committed to implementing it's "Commitment to Clean, " or the cleaning crew on the 4th floor needs to be retrained. It just doesn't feel good nor give you a feeling that the carpet and the rest of the room have been properly cleaned, when there's hair in the sink (3 strands), glass water rings on the night stand, and no safety tabs on the shampoo, conditioner and lotion containers (in fact they were turned upside down to likely reflect being full) - to say nothing of one of the bed lights being burnt out.

04/26/21. I found blood and urine on mattress while checking room for cleanliness upon arrival. Checked 4 more rooms with Front desk associate and all mattresses in 5 rooms were unsanitary. Was told after now 2 hours there checking beds with front desk assoc that rest would probably look like that and was given a refund to go stay somewhere else. Left and spent the night in clean residence inn next door. Left message for mgr Tuesday to call me, still no call back. Called Marriott direct on Thursday and still no call back. Unbelievable!! One night stay for church conference the next morning. Got a great rate from William Shatner's company. :) Arrival experience was excellent -- lobby was clean, modern and welcoming, and check-in staff was friendly. Care had been taken to maintain social distancing and other enhanced sanitation due to COVID, such as credit-card readers on tables placed in front of the desk. Hand sanitizer was widely available. Room was clean and quiet; very little road noise despite proximity to busy New Circle Road. Excellent WiFi speed and HDTV service. Bathroom was spotless and shower worked very well. When I left for my conference the next morning, I was missing some literature that I needed, but didn't notice it was gone until I had already checked out and arrived at the conference. I went back to the hotel in late afternoon after my meeting, and asked the clerk if housekeeping had found it. He checked and said they had not, but offered to give me a key card so that I could go to the room and look around (it had not been rented out yet). I thanked him and went back, and sure enough, the booklet had fallen in between the bed and the side table. Yay! Numerous restaurants are in the neighborhood, and a Kroger store is half a block away. Additional shopping is not far away. I highly recommend this Courtyard property.

October 3, 2020 5pm The front desk clerk is not wearing a mask and refuses to put one on. He was rude to me when I expressed shock and outrage and laughed at my repeated question to him "How Can You Be Working Here (Marriott) And Not Be Wearing A Mask. He was such a rude j*** to me and told me not to make things harder by complaining. I am a critical care nurse who has been staying at Marriott properties exclusively since March because I believed they were taking extra measures to keep their properties clean and safe. No More!

I prefer JW properties, but the Courtyard Lexington Airport was ideal based on location to business partners and meetings at the University of Kentucky. Property was clean and relatively quiet. Staff were friendly and professional. Bed was adequately comfortable. I would stay again for an overnight business trip.

Pros: Exterior looked great and location was convenient to the university and downtown. Additionally, all the staff we encountered were very nice and welcoming. Cons: The hotel rooms were not what I'd consider Marriott quality. Mattresses and pillows were not comfortable and cheap linens covered the beds. And the toilet paper took me back to the public high school bathroom days. Over the past 5 years, we've been utilizing AirBnB's and VRBO's so maybe we've gotten spoiled by those. Marriott's was our go-to if we needed a hotel. I don't recall the quality ever being on this level.

Staff was very nice. Room was extremely clean. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it. Restaurants and gas station are close to hospitals and most doctors offices. Was close to the road but we didn’t hear any traffic noise.
