The Blue Heron Steakhouse

Delicious food and wonderful service. We celebrated our marriage with a dinner in this lovely establishment and they were so nice!

I booked for my faculty and a candidate interview and this was a perfect location. The environment and food were amazing and we are so happy we worked with this restaurant. This was the first time doing so, and their staff were so helpful and professional for all the needs and requests at hand. I believe there is an Andrew/Anthony (sorry I cannot recall his name exactly, but I know it started with an A), that answered the phone and helped me through all my needs. I was beyond impressed by him! Thank you to the team for a wonderful experience, and the candidate that was interviewed said dinner was fantastic. I call it a win all around! Thank you!

We had an absolutely delightful dinner. Starting with top-notch cocktail; their Old Fashioned is a must-try when in Bourbon Country. The crab cake appetizer was the perfect culinary start to our meal. Tender, juicy and flaky while crisped to perfection. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and melted in our mouths. We will definitely be back, on our next trip to Lexington.

Blue Heron never disappoints. I've been here multiple times. While the food is excellent, the service surpasses even that. It is exemplary! Carlos has been my waiter twice now. He is so gracious, efficient and accommodating. Personally, I think Blue Heron is one of the best restaurants in Lexington.

This was a great dining experience, the ambiance, food and our sever made this an enjoyable experience. Our sever was well versed with the menu making it easier to decide from the wonderful selection. To top it off, dessert was fabulous! Definitely going to make this our place for special occasions!

This was the BEST dining experience we've had in Lexington in a long time! The crab cake was the best we've ever had! The lamb was divine and the filet was grilled to perfection! It is our new favorite and we'll definitely be coming back next trip!

This was our second time dining here. Our server Hannah was perfect, giving us time to decide on our fabulous dinner. We were celebrating our anniversary, thank you for the apple dessert. See you next year!!

This was an amazing place. The food was outstanding. Best filet we have had in a long time! The salt crust was perfection! The service was helpful and fun! The ambience was beautiful- the bar itself was super cool! Would definitely recommend!! Loved it!!!

Fantastic steaks that are far superior to all the high end steakhouses in Lexington. Lambchops were out of this world! Ambiance is warm, cozy and inviting. Service is very attentive and welcoming. Always a fantastic experience every time we go to Blue Heron!

Food and wait service were very good, but we had to wait a very long time for our entrees - at least 30 minutes. We were seated at 6:30 - had cocktails, one appetizer and entrees - no salad course, and finished at 8:20. We enjoy leisurely meals at fine restaurants, but the time between courses was way too long.
