We loved this hotel! Very beautiful and charming - such a fun atmosphere in the restaurant area each night - staff were super nice and helpful - overall staying here truly enhanced my family’s trip to Lexington! Would definitely stay here again! I was a little nervous after reading some of the other reviews but honestly the only weird thing was that our room didn’t have a fridge ??‍♀️ 10/10 would recommend!

This is an older hotel, but the rooms were humongous and nice. The bathroom was on the smaller side but was big enough, and the hotel was close to everywhere we were going, such as Keeneland and Jonabel Farms. ( both have been reviewed)They had a restaurant/bar area that was awesome!! If you are a bourbon lover, this bar is for you! They had like 300 different types of bourbon to try! (I attached a bourbon menu) Everything from Pappy to some locals. It was amazing. The food was really good and the atmosphere was great. They had live entertainment, and it was cool out, so cozy fires were lit. Oh, and they have cookies in the lobby for you to grab. It was a great experience. I highly recommend it.

I booked a Yearling Suite THREE months before our stay. When we arrived for check-in we were told that there were no suites left and we would be put in a regular room. The front desk employee basically said sorry for your luck. I was disappointed when I didn’t get the room that I booked, I was even more disappointed when the room that we were given instead was tiny, unimpressive, with a window view of an air conditioner. It didn’t even have a mini fridge for our toddler’s milk. Not impressed.

Being retired military I have stayed in hotels all over the world so I have plenty to compare to. This is one of the worst I have ever stayed at. Even compared to a Navy barracks. Lots of weird smells, everything is dirty and worn, rooms are tiny, toilet is almost unusable unless you are 5 foot tall and no more than 100 lbs. I would rather have stayed at a motel 6. No fridge, ice machine did not work, front desk staff was pretty rude too. This place is a joke. I picked this for a random night for my wife and I based on the pictures and the “4 star” rating. This is a 2 star at best. Wish I had read the reviews first. Total waste of time and money. Oh and expect to spend at least 100 for two people if you eat at their restaurant. We chose to eat at city bbq up the road. That place was great. Don’t stay here ever. I hope Hilton drops them.Rooms: Terrible all around.

We loved staying at the Campbell hotel! The rooms were gorgeous and the location was amazing for Railbird! Beautiful property that I highly recommend.

First floor entrance to rooms smells like your grandmas flooded basement. Dark, dank and moldy. Truly awful. Drop ceiling obscures the fire suppression system. Carpet threadbare and exposing edges. Window cracked and “repaired” with packing tape. Hot water took longer than the first shower to show up. Staff was not helpful.

The hotel itself is great. Very beautiful and amazing friendly service. The rooms were a little smaller than we anticipated and are happy we didn’t bring our dog or even a child. We decided to eat at the hotel one night and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing! The selection of bourbon was great and the bartenders were very friendly and informative about different drinks as well what to do in the area. Our was a great time and we were very happy staying hereRooms: The room was very small which was our only complaint. The furnishings were amazing and they even had items already in the room that we had forgotten at home.

Not sure if it was just my room but this hotel lacks maintenance in the room. Heat wouldn’t turn off. Toilet ran all night, no soap or conditioner in the shower, water just builds up in the shower drain and won’t go down. It just seems like to many issues for it to be a coincident. Not sure I’d stay here again.

This place is awful. I check in on saturday, go do my business on Sunday morning and I show back up Sunday evening and they gave my room to someone else still charging me for the room. Got told I would be upgraded for the inconvenience which was lie. Then after my 5 days my receipt was wrong and I called and ask them to fix it and I was told no by the guy at the front counter so I drove back there before leaving town and the Indian guy was rude. I won’t stay here again. Also you can’t speak with a manager. The front counter gives you a run around when you ask for one.
