The meatballs in bourbon bbq sauce are delicious! Corn muffins with their corn mush are good and a neat way to incorporate the distill into the menu.

The Old Guys Pub Crawl loves this place. Been here many times, but, we have been to all the bars and pubs many times.They serve beer. No need to be picky about stuff. Time is short. Say hi when you see us. We're the old guys enjoying the day. We love this place. I have photos from all the bars we have been in and am now just getting around to posting them. So, they are not going to match each place but we don't care.

This was a stop for a Bourbon tour. It was lunch and the food was good. Mostly a sandwich and fried foods bar. The restrooms are one at a time. As a group we struggled to finish lunch in an hour which was all that was allocated as we had a first day server. Not her fault as she was nice, just thought they should have added another experienced server.

When we were there it was seat yourself and we had to go to the bar to order our food. I had mini sliders of bbq pulled pork and country ham. Both really good. My husband enjoyed his chicken salad sandwich. Corn mash muffins were good, but I prefer sweet corn muffins, so for me I would skip them next time. Had live entertainment while we ate.
We're drawn to the Elkhorn Tavern for its Friday night shows by the Marble Creek Rangers. Had a margarita tonight made by the happy bartender with a ponytail, and it was delicious! 😋

If I could give this place a 0 star rating, I would. My sister has been having a difficult time in her life and I wanted to treat her by taking her to dinner. We sat outside and did not even receive a clean table nor a menu before the server asked for our ID’s just to bring them back 10 minutes later telling us she could not serve us. My sister is 25 years old and I am 23. I went inside to speak politely to the bartender what was going on and to get security or police involved because they were in fact real ID’s. The bartender was extremely rude and disrespectful towards me. Even the manager apologized for his behavior. I am disappointed I even wasted my time coming here. I’m more ashamed for the other staff who work with this horrible, mean bartender.

Great bourbon selection. Great people working there. Had a great conversation. That being said, we stuck with the Kentucky exclusive Barrel House bourbon. Definitely an up and comer. Drinks like a legacy bourbon even though they're relatively new. We bought a bottle to bring home since it's not offered outside of Kentucky at this time. We had other plans so we had to leave after a couple drinks, but I would have happily stayed all day. They offer food too so definitely will be happy to turn it into a longer visit next time we're in Kentucky. Can't wait to go back.
