I thought this place was a little pricey when I first went there recently. I was wrong, worth every penny, and more. The molasses cookies are good times 10, and the pecan sticky rolls are sweet buttery goodness. I don't think it would be possible to improve upon what they make here. Wonderful stuff, and very nice people.

I'm glad I placed an order early because they was sold out when I came to pick them up and I totally understand why these are the best cinnamon rolls ever!

This business was amazing when they opened, we used to go at least once per week when I lived in the area. Since I have moved the owner sold the business and the product is terrible now. I visited recently while in town and the rolls were doughy, tasted old and undercooked at the same time. Not a single person was there other than the workers on this visit which should have been a clue as the place used to always have a line and sell out of product early. Maybe I just went on an off day but it was definitely not what’s used to be.

11/3/24 The Coffee cake and the cinnamon roll were some of the best I have had other than home made!!!! We got two pieces of the crumble coffee cake and it wss just as good the next day with coffee. Too bad we only get thru Lexington two times a year!!!
We will get more take away next time and recommend to our bed and breakfast place !

Desserts are quality, adorable, and reasonably priced. You have to get there quickly because she WILL sell out. Awesome owner, highly recommend.

I always keep one or two pans of “take-and-bake” cinnamon rolls in my freezer. They come in handy for weekend mornings or holiday breakfasts! Love their fresh treats as well. The Strawberry roll and chocolate chip scones are among my favorites.

Everytime i go, they barely put icing and it’s basically all dough. They’re always out of napkins and silverware also

So disappointed! I really wanted to support this new, local bakery! I ordered 2 boxes of Christmas cookies to give as gifts. When I stopped by to pick them up around 1pm, the door was locked. I could see someone inside baking, so I knocked & mentioned that I was here for a pickup. They just looked at me through the glass & said we’re closed. The sign on the door said they closed at noon. No one mentioned this when I placed the order - I know bakeries usually close early, but noon seems extreme - especially during the holidays! So, I went back the next morning to get my two $27 boxesof cookies. No one greeted me upon entering. 5 people were milling about the front & one lady was on the phone. When I was finally recognized, I asked for my cookie boxes, only to be told that they didn’t have them. I guess they gave them to someone else. And they told me they could bake some more for me to pickup tomorrow!! What!? No one apologized or offered anything as a substitution. Nothing. Just - we don’t have your cookies, but we can make some more. No one mentioned when I placed the order or ever called, texted or emailed me to say - if you don’t pick up your order between 7a - noon, we will sell your cookies to someone else. We are leaving town today for Xmas, which is why I wanted the cookies - to bring with me, so I had to go elsewhere. Martine’s Pastries didn’t disappoint - they had an abundant selection of cookies, gingerbread houses & cookies, fruit cakes, pies and lots of delicious flavors, for a lot less than the $54 I was going to pay here.
