The Local Taco Lexington - Hamburg Location

I was shocked by how good my chicken taco was!!!!!! My first visit, but it will definitely not be my last..

The Korean beef taco was unsatisfactory, the beef was dry and tough, the sauce was more spicy hot then I could manage and food went uneaten. The Veggie taco was good. The veggie of the day plate saved the day as was perfectly seasoned, not spicy but savory, and plenty of it. The overhead music was uncomfortable making normal table conversation unpleasant. The table of four beside us expressed the same leaving unfinished meals. I did ask if the volume could be reduced but told it was preset.

The local taco is a KY staple!! Good food, fast service, and friendly staff. I have been to the Lexington location several times and have throughly enjoyed my visit, this time was no different. The hamburg location has a much more spacious dining area that left me pleasantly surprised!! I ordered a dinner plate with two Chicken Tinga enchiladas, a bowl of black beans, and cuban corn. It was delicious!! The cuban corn especially is a must try the seasoning and blackening of the corn is to die for!! It was my first time trying these enchiladas and they were also scrumptious! This place is a must visit!!

Anytime my family comes to visit, I always take them to Local Taco! We love it and always have a great time. Affordable food and great happy hour selection.

This is a walk up and order then seat yourself. The lady behind the register was super friendly and helpful for our first time in and the food was really good.

Great place. I had a steak taco and a Korean BBQ taco, both were excellent! My side was the Mexican rice, the best I have every eaten. Even though it was a little dry, it had a ton of flavor. Will definitely be back.

The steak taco pictured was delicious and all four of us had at least one of those and we all enjoyed it. The sauteed vegetables pictured were seasoned to perfection!
The Chicken Tinga Enchilada pictured was good but a little dry and my husband said the same about the side of rice but if you add queso to both they were perfect. My son and daughter-in-law both had the four tacos each and she said the shrimp taco was delicious! My husband said his Korean BBQ taco and Steak taco was really tasty as well. We will definitely go back. The service was fast and friendly.

The location is great, awesome layout. I ordered a steak taco and a chicken taco. The steak was like warm and tough, the chicken was hot and tender.

I was so excited about trying this. I’ve heard a lot of hype but to my surprise I got food poisoning. I’ve literally been sick since I left Lexington Tuesday. They were nice in there but the food was way smaller portions than expected and the food poisoning was a big NO for me. Sorry but won’t be back

Food was good. The buffalo chicken nachos were my favorite of the four that I tried. My family enjoyed their food too. The place is counter service, so you grab a table and order at the counter. They give you a number and food gets brought to your table. Fast service. Drinks are self-serve fountain drinks. Lots of tables both inside and outside. Overall, it was great. Would not hesitate to visit again.

Would like to recognize Manger Cindy and the Cashier they both went over and beyond for me today. I got my food and ran to the restroom and come back to the cleaner had cleaned my table and threw my food away. So I went to The front cashier and addressed the situation to her. She notified her manager immediately, and her manager came out to me and addressed that not only they were going to remake my meal, but also gave me a refund for my entire meal and asked if I needed anything else on the menu that it would be on them this is what true customer service is about these two girl we’re not only super friendly but we’re very respectful and took there job very seriously I want to thank them both for everything they done and for there respect and friendliness.

I ordered the steak taco and the fish taco. I was surprised by the size as the portions were very generous. The staff were friendly and very helpful at explaining the menu. We sat on the patio in 90 degree heat and were very comfortable. I am definitely going back.
