Really glad we discovered this place on our visit to Lexington. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. The service and staff were great. The bartenders are very knowledgeable about the different Bourbons they have on site as well. Most importantly their food was delicious, fresh and served with nice sized portions. We had the fresh baked corn bread skillet, a Ky Hot Brown (yum), and the Burgoo Stew.
We had a large party of 13 adults and 2 small children for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant furnishings and decor are gorgeous. The lunch menu is limited, but the salads and sandwiches were delicious and portions large. The French dip sandwich was stacked with juicy beef and grilled onions on a soft sub roll. They make their potato chips and French fries in house, both very tasty. Prices very reasonable, approximately $9-$14. The servers were also friendly and very efficient .
I highly recommend and look forward to returning.
Breakfast at The Rackhouse Tavern was great, my family and I had tickets, Ella made it unforgettable! From the moment we sat down, she was so kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming to my children. If you’re ever stopping in for breakfast, ask for Ella — she’s a gem!!
Absolutely LOVED everything about the Rackhouse! The wedge salad was amazing as was the Cajun pasta BUT the highlight was Delaney, the bartender! She has so much knowledge about liquor especially bourbon. She was an absolute gem!!!
We had such a good time at the rackhouse tavern! From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly by the hostess. Didn't have a reservation but it wasn't a problem getting seated. Food and cocktails were delicious and service by Andrea was excellent. They had live music which we loved! Just an all around nice evening and good experience. Bravo!
Very cool atmosphere.
We went for the Mother’s Day brunch. Food and service were top notch. My only complaint is that the add for the event was misleading. I thought mimosas were included based on the description, they were an extra charge. IMO, for $65 per person, they should have been included.
The steak and burger had no seasoning. The waitress did not offer to do anything about it. The appetizers and atmosphere were nice but overall we were disappointed.
Brandon the bartender is the best here he recommended the best cocktails and dinner highly recommend!

My Birthday dinner 10/13/24. We had a 7:00 reservation, were seated and no one came to the table for 15 minutes, not even to give us water😱 When the waitress finally came over she apologized for the wait and said they were short staffed. We had already witnessed the chef delivering food to nearby tables. Thanks but no thanks!! They were continuing to seat other people🤦🏻♀️ So we got up and left and had a wonderful dinner at Carson’s Food and Drink on Main.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the Rackhouse Tavern this weekend, and left happy, full, and Impressed with their establishment. The overall ambiance was very chill and felt very “Kentucky”. Service was quick and efficient. My date and I both ordered the 16 Oz Striploin steak with mashed potatoes. Having eaten and worked at Malones, Lexington’s premier steakhouse, I know good steak, however, I can wholeheartedly say my favorite steak in Lexington now belongs to Chef Lane at the Rackhouse Tavern! This guy is the real deal!! We also really enjoyed the bourbon cheesecake dessert. It was absolutely delicious. 5/5 recommend. We will be back for more eats!

Apparently there was a dog show at the restaurant hotel. I like dogs but to have 10!dogs around you while you're eating is awful. We should have been told that there was dogs in the restaurant.
Menu is very limited, not much to select from. Literally almost one meat selection for an entree option and that is all. Full bar if you want to drink. Fried green tomatoes were good.
