First timing trying this place. Fill place, feels like a neighborhood spoke with some unique dishes on the menu.
I got the Lumberjack burger. It came out raw, ordered it medium. They took it back I expected a new burger, the simply further cooked the burger. This time it was well done. Not a big deal flavor was still there, juicy and well seasoned. However, I think much of the Beer cheese had cooked off.
We got the salad with orange vinaigrette and it was very good. The squash soup was also nice on a snowy day.
Service was excellent and enjoyed the experience. The only negative was the burger cook and the not getting a new burger. Just kind of pointless to ask for how I’d like it cooked.
Would eat here again though

The Sage Rabbit is always delicious! I think it's one of the best restaurants in lexington! And all their food is locally sourced so the animals are all humanely raised which is really important to us.
Vegetarian options: They have a Paris Saigon bowl that is amazing.

Went here for our anniversary dinner. It was good. We got two entrees and two mixed drinks for about $80, not including tip.

Lots of drink choices and seasonal cocktails. They are delicious, well presented and I'm a big fan. You get a variety of meals available as well. I did like the drinks better than the meals but the service was great. There's both indoor and outdoor seating.

Outstanding was the Redfish with Chicken of the Woods wild mushrooms and seasonal stir fry veggies with truffle oil —whoa❗️The mushroom truffle oil combo is central to the flavor. My partner had a steak, potatoes, veggies, and a margarita with both tequila and mescal, which gave it a smokey hint, all also pronounced delicious. My go to cocktail — Manhattan made with Knob Creek— was not on the cocktail menu, but was up to my high standards. Bill was $62 including three drinks and desert. If you’re in the mood for upscale dining, you could pay a lot more, but it couldn’t be more yummy.

I had the perfect experience here! I sat at the bar and enjoyed a mint julep, some goat cheese with bread, and a wonderful little chocolate & toasted marshmellow genache. The bartender took great care of me. Thank you for the exceptional service & food!

The service - especially Wendy - was amazing! The chef was great about accommodating several food allergies at our table, without having to compromise the food. Order the banana pudding - you won't regret it!

I was very excited to try the Sage Rabbit because the reviews were very good and the menu looked nice. However, I had a very poor experience there and will not be returning. To start, my husband and I had to wait an hour and twenty minutes before we got our food because the waitress stated there was a glitch in the system and our order was never put in. I ordered the bibimbap and my husband ordered a burger.
When I got my food, it was very bland and had no seasoning at all. The vegetables on the dish were very obviously frozen vegetables from a bag. Overall for the price of everything I was not impressed and won't be returning. This would be a one star review if it wasn't for the burger. It was the only saving grace.

Wonderful food and service. Will absolutely be back. The Mac n' cheese ? was creamy and smooth, a velvety parmesan delight. Perfectly made and super fun cocktails.

Would definitely need to book a reservation, because it is a small local restaurant. But you can sit outside, weather permitting! The decor is lovely, and the staff were wonderful! The food was beautifully plated, and tasted really good! Went for my anniversary, and it was very pleasant! Definitely recommend!
