The Simple Greek

We really liked this place. But, three weeks ago, we called, asked what time they closed, arrived before said closing time to find the doors locked and lights off. So we called ahead again last Friday, got there 30 minutes before they closed. Stood in line, then when the customer in front of us was done, we were ignored. The last customer had to say, "um I think they were next" we were then told they were closed. After explaining we had called ahead, and asking to talk to the manager, they reluctantly agreed to serve us. Which was a whole ordeal in itself. The two workers just kept telling us what they didn't have. So we had to keep guessing at what they may have in order to create our meal. It was ridiculous. Very rude staff who didn't want to be there, and were annoyed we were keeping them from going home. So sad we have to cross this place off our list.

Take out food was not good, , 2 young seem to not know what they were doing. The food didn't seem to be fresh.

They were just awful and treated us horribly. I contacted the manager and all he/ she did was write me a nasty, rude message. We used to be regular customers!

The wind was howling! I chased their sandwich board down the parking lot and took it inside. Our lunch was delicious! Dare I say best I've ever tasted. Staff very friendly and fast. We will be back.

The rizagalo is soooioo good . Better warm too . So many fresh options too

My pita was cold and the edges around the pita were hard my hummus was like paste not creamy at all

Great tasting food, affordable, and helpful staff. I have a family of diverse food restrictions. The easiest solution is to deconstruct most sandwiches and put the ingredients together at home. This is a pain for most restaurants, but the Simple Greek folks are helpful with a smile, putting the meat in one container, the toppings in another, and so on. Thanks.

i love Simple Greek, my favorite is the steak pita, one of my favorite restaurants in Lexington, would highly recommend giving this place a try.

Not how they used to be. When they first opened food was fresh and delicious. Now its sub par and they use canned green beans instead of fresh produce ones. Disappointment.

Delicious falafel and the Greek fries were amazing! Everyone was super helpful.

I received 2 birthday texts offering free fries and dessert with entree purchase. So I went today and ordered my bowl from the nice person and showed my texts to cashier and manager and was informed I had to use their APP. I tried to download the APP but I had little service and showed them my ‘spinning wheel’ on my IPhone. I asked again for my ‘rewards’ and received a deaf ear. As a line was building I paid for my bowl, bot a to go lid and explained I will not return , but I’ll pay soeveryone else can order.

Had to come edit my review. This is the 2nd time I came to get food this week from The Simple Greek. This is also the 2nd time they did not have shrimp. Not cool!!

I have never had such humble and kind service from a fast food like environment. The workers and manager were so friendly and helpful, I'd never had Greek food and they walked me through it. And the food, the food was phenomenal such fresh and uniquely invigorating flavors. I would definitely recommend this wonderful hidden gem to anyone.
