This place is awesomeness!! From the start of reserving a table, to entry into the building, to the drinks and service was just great. Ryan the owner served us. He explained the drink menu to us and detailed the process in how they make their drinks. I tried drinks I’ve never had before. The description of each drink is spot on the way it tastes. The drinks are stout. Definitely worth the time and money. Oh and the restroom were immaculate! Would ? be going back.

Ryan was amazing. If you love old fashions make sure you get the War & Peace. More of a vodka drinker? Ask them to make you a traditional cosmo. We had an amazing night. If you’re even considering checking this place out…do it!

The Grand Reserve is always a good place to go. I attended a function there about 3 years ago then about 2 years ago and recently. It was wonderful each and every time.

Attend an event here for New Years Eve. We had an absolute blast. The ambiance and experience was great. They had entertainment available with fire breathers and trapezes. There was plenty of room and the music was great. The bar area was pretty crowded and it took a minute to get a drink. Overall it was a blast and I'd recommend attending this event.

Huge love to this venue. We held our KHAKY (Kidney Health Alliance of Kentucky) Trees of Life Gala fundraiser here on the same night as a popular hip hop artist in the same building so add nasty rain to that traffic and that was the worst part about the night! We entered by the Speakeasy parking side and had no problem finding parking for our event. From the moment you walk in this place has so much charm and potential for whatever event is being held there! The bar display was beautiful ! A real class piece. We took some pictures as we entered the speakeasy entryway with nice lighting. The main room was so spacious and wide. We had room for a stage/band and about 45 tables of various sizes for seating, trees, wreathes, silent auction items and more! There was veggie and cracker tray out for a snack before the buffet opened. The restrooms were absolutely beautiful as well, clean and stocked through the event. The place is classically decorated to suit any occasion. I wouldlove to attend more events there!

In late January my wife and I went to a company dinner at Speakeasy. We both ordered Makers on the rocks. The Barkeep says "no", that shots where not served. I explained no shot just 2 Markers and ice. She said, "no" that was not permitted by the owners! So, I quickly thought to test this by ordering an Extra Dry Martini on the rocks hold the Vermouth. She proceeded to reach for the Grey Goose, all was well with my Martini and a glass, some ice and just Grey Goose, oh my I had Vodka on the rocks. So to future dinners that like a glass of Bourbon with their dinner may I suggest simply order " Bourbon Martini on the rocks hold the Vermouth". The problem is cookie cutter management and owners that maybe do not recognize that this is the heart of Bourbon Country. I'm very proud of Kentucky's success with Bourbon and I wish the owners where too. To inform readers I'm 64 years old my wife is a very young 62. We were not out shooting Tequila nor dancing on the bar with a bottle of Goldschlager! It's about training employees. Teaching the difference between Tequila shooting crowd and a couple in their 60's simply wanting a Bourbon, a glass and some ice with their meal. May I suggest looking past the food ( if the food is not good than who cares about the other things) and having the ability to put yourself in the customers shoes. Details and training. My first review ever, sorry it was negative. Thought about my experience for weeks and came to the conclusion that I had to share.
