Just had drinks. Bartender was super helpful with whiskeys to pick! Great atmosphere. Great alcohol selection. Highly recommend!

One of our all time favorite places to hang out. It's great for a short visit or to hang out for a long time. Good food, great drinks and even better service.

We arrived at 5:00. We did not get our food until after6:20, and this required talking to the manager or it would have been later. It was so loud we could not hear each other at the table. Our friends who joined us had a concert at 7 pm m. They had to hurriedly eat the food and run to the concert. They seemed unprepared for a Saturday night crowd.
I had the Shrimp and Grits and it LITERALLY is one of the top 5 meals I've ever had. The shrimp were cooked to perfection (not too dry) and over greens that had the most amazing flavor. The Artichoke Fritter appetizer was, however, not something I would ever order again.
I'll start with the best: shrimp and grits! Outstanding! Flavor, presentation, value all top notch. Thankfully that's what I ordered. My husband got the chicken tenders and said they were overcooked and had too much breading and chicken was kind of dry. Said he preferred Longhorn or Chick-fil-A tenders. Yikes. Service was great and timely. Ambience: music good but too loud. Our table had a sticky finish, clean but sticky, and warped. So a mixed review but we will definitely be back for the shrimp and grits!
We went before a show at the opera house. I love parking once and walking to dinner and the show. This fit the bill. Not knock your socks off good, but good enough to go back. Our server, Vince was also bartending and he killed it!
The food was excellent! My husband and I both had the bison chili, I had the falafel wrap, and my husband had the Santa Anita Club. But the service was very poor. On another day it might be better. It may have just been the day we were there.
Waited forever for a hostess and she was doing multiple tasks due to staff no shows. Didn't think anyone was ever going to serve our table but finally ordered drinks and an appetizer. We never received the appetizer but received our meal after about 55 minutes. The burger and patty melt were excellent but the pulled pork was mediocre at best. Took and hour and a half for a simple meal. Not impressed and there are too many good restaurants to chose from so I won't bother with them again.
We thought this was a nicer ( a little more upscale) kind of place bring in the old courthouse. So we were a disappointed that we were in Lexington celebrating our anniversary and had made reservations here. Would have been good for a drop in kind of meal.
Andrea our waitress, was awesome! Ive only been to Zim's a couple of times, but it seemed to me that the brunch menu has shrunk, or perhaps my memory is failing. Both are likely. Still, a great Saturday morning brunch spot before/after the Farmers Mkt

Our party of three went with the Restaurant Week Menu option. Unfortunately, it did not our expectations and definitely not up to the deliciousness of the regular menu options. Our small cobbler had 4 berries, the rest was crust. But our waiter was excellent.
We had family in from out of state to meet our newborn. It was a perfect t place to grab brunch and allow them to see the heart of Lexington. Food and service was amazing as always!
Restaurant was practically empty. No shrimp and grits. Food was served, eggs overcooked and cold, fries cold, sausage cold, grits and Biscuit lukewarm, catfish piping hot. It's a crime to serve food of that quality cold.
The food was amazing. This is definitely my new spot. Trevor is an amazing and informative. He has a lot of knowledge about the drinks and food they serve. Watching him work with other people, he just does his best helping people and I’ll definitely be back.
