Villainous is a great experience! Never experienced a tabletop bar before where we could play RPGs or board games before and I am so happy to have this place in Lexington! The staff is usually two people so they can keep costs affordable and provide a great setting for nerds to gather and meet!

I came to KY for a work trip and wanted to check out this place on my own for its creative drinks and fun atmosphere. It was nothing short of what I expected. The staff Mickey and Jack were very welcoming and I had awesome conversations with them. One even showed me his unique watch collection. I am definitely inspired to nerd out more since visiting this place. I enjoyed my visit so much that I bought a t shirt to rep them wherever else I go! Thank you Villainous staff for all the laughs and stories! š«¶ To future customers - if you are one to want to sit down and play board games with someone then definitely bring a friend! Otherwise, having a drink, snacking and vibing is a fun thing to do here alone! :)) maybe bring a project or a book to do on your own as well

We were visiting from out of town and were excited to check it out. We showed up around 10pm on a Wednesday and were surprised/disappointed to find them closed and completely empty. Google maps, their website and the sign on their door all said they were open til 11pm. Not sure if their hours changed or if we caught them on a bad night but it was super disappointing to pay for an Uber only to find them closed.

Honestly, Iāve came here a few times now and have officially been inspired enough to leave a review. The staff are always on point and consistent with their kindness (and funny sense of humor). Iāve also never felt overlooked, or undervalued here. Even when itās insanely busy.

It wasn't very busy when i went but it was chill. The chicken strips were great as were both the regular and sweet potato fries. The ranch was only alright but I can let that slide as everything else was great

great food! great drinks! service was excellent. they have games you can play while you eat or wait for your food. AMAZING game tables! the only gripe I have is that it is pretty small in there. Seems to keep really busy and It could get cramped pretty fast on a busy night

Stopped in for a quick drink before the Mastodon concert @ Rupp and had the absolute best time! Mickey made me a Kaijuice (a delightful blackberry rum concoction) & I only wish I had time to drink more than one. Excellent drinks & even more excellent people. Villainous is a true hidden gem. <3
