I wish I had taken pictures of our meal but I wasn’t expecting to be this impressed! We really enjoyed our meal tonight. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Eric was our server and he was on top of it! We will be back.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in downtown Lexington! Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, delicious food and very reasonable prices. It's a relaxing warm awesome site that is so worth checking out!

The service was amazing. The food unfortunately wasn’t that great. I got the baja tacos with Mexican rice and beans. They forgot the pico and chipotle sauce, luckily I reminded them because that gave the tacos the most flavor. The beans I got tasted burnt. The rice was flavorless and very small portions of the rice and beans. The tacos came with two pieces of shrimp. I’m not sure if it wasn’t as great as the reviews say they are because I arrived at 11:30 but I was expecting better.

I went to Viva Mexican today (Tuesday 6/17/2025) and had Jorge Jr. serve me. He was a wonderful host and this place has absolutely divine Horchata!

Can’t explain how much I LOVE this place!!! I have never had a bad meal and the service is phenomenal. All staff (including the owner) are extremely pleasant, kind, & respectful.

Most consistent Mexican restaurant you will find. My wife and I have been coming here for the past 2 years and we have never had a bad experience. You will see the owner working often, he does a great job and runs a great restaurant.

Very clean, fast seating, fast service and great food. Staff was very friendly huge margaritas, great queso and fresh chips. Excellent and highly recommended. A++!

Salsa is really good, traditional flavor, the spicy salsa is by special request 5/10 on heat but flavor is fantastic, they will bring a jalapeño based and guessing the second is habanero based. I ordered chori-pollo one of my favorite dishes, hands down the best in the Lexington area. Very flavorful cooked to perfection. I drove an hour to try this restaurant and I will be back
