My wife and I came here for dinner on a Saturday night. One of the best experiences we have had at a restaurant in a long time. Service was wonderful and the food was magnificent! We met the owner and his son, as his son was the one who served us. Highly recommend this authentic Mexican restaurant to everyone in Lexington! Wishing the owners success!

The best Mexican food I've had, hands down. The staff was incredibly nice, and the food was delicious. My family eats a lot of Mexican, and we wish Viva Mexico was in our home state of South Carolina. We will definitely dine here again when we return to Lexington!

Happy Hour M-F 4pm to 7pm, half-price Margs of 3 different sizes and multiple flavors. Small Queso for $4.50 which is the cheapest I've seen. She ordered Chili Relleno, which was good. I order Chimichana Entree, available in Shredded or Ground Beef, as well as Chicken. The Shredded was really good, and the larger style opposed to the smaller ones you get at some places. 3 Margs, a Queso, and our 2 Entrees came in at $60 before tip. Seating is a bit cramped, booths are a bit uncomfortable and out-dated.

I bet this place is awesome on game nights. They have several large screen televisions that are easily viewable from pretty much anywhere you are seated. Great place!
