That's a no from me dawg. So there is the run down. Walk in an order at the register, and have a seat, they will bring out your order. Simple right? Ok, lets go, so first thing when I walk in, review the menu, and guess what? You guess it, they were out of pork. Now, I am not going to really complain, cause pulled pork is not my go to menu item when selecting something delicious from a BBQ grill, ok? So I let that slide. I ask for a rib lunch with an extra side, cause I need to try some stuff, a variety to see what I like. So the guy at the counter yells back to the cook, "do we have ribs?" Suspect cause you just told me that you were out of pork, so you have to make sure you got ribs cause why? Its 12pm, in the middle of lunch rush and its not like there is a line out the door and we are low on everything. So I get ribs, greens and scalloped potatoes, cause yeah, staples if you ask me. Takes a minute to get my food out, but thats ok, because this is gonna be theee best I have ever had right? Wrong, it comes out, and I snap a quick pic, take a bite of my greens, a bit of the potatoes and alright. Potatoes are nice and creamy, the greens are a little bland for my liking, but hey, they ain't bad. I remove the bread from off my ribs to find moldy bread... smh. Nope, ain't gone do it. So I take it back to the front, the guy proceeds to take the bread, like he is only going to replace the bread... uhhh no, this bread was sitting up against my ribs... I am going to need a whole do over. I still wanted to give them a shot, but I am already in duress at this point, but I let them go ahead and make another plate. It took them all of 15 more minutes to get me a new plate. Now mind you, there were only two guys who came in after me, so it wasn't like there were 20 people waiting on their food. Then, guess what... they slide me an extra piece of bread? Really? I don't want no bread at all... not an extra rib bone for your trouble or here is a piece of pie, sorry for your inconvenience, nothing. The cook does come out to see if I was ok, well I am now that I got a new plate, but I guess I was as good as I was going to get. Now I can say the ribs were good, this is the only thing that made my visit remotely acceptable. Then when I left, they came out to apologize... yet again, and that the next time i would get 50% off my next visit. What about this visit... because this visit is what matters, not the next one. Now, let me say this, if you follow me, you know I like to give more than one try to an establishment before giving a not so positive review. However, this is not the first time I visited this restaurant. My husband and I visited it when it was on Jefferson Street as well, only to come in during lunch time and be told they were out of quite a few items... then to find out that their credit card machine was out... sooo... I end it with a repeat of my first statement... That's a no from me dawg.

if you can catch them open, I suggest the potato salad, pickles (homemade) and ribs!! best around...just difficult to eat there because they are closed alot.
Disgusting food and horrible service! The owner sets the standard for the staff by being biggest j*** on the planet too. Only eat here if you plan on taking a trip to the hospital for parasite medications fairly quickly

Ordered and paid for chicken. Informed that they were out of chicken and that they were unable to refund my money. I was offered a veggie plate and told I could come back the next day and get "free" chicken. Veggies tasted like they were from a can with little to no seasoning so I left them on the plate. I don't live close to this restaurant so going the next day was not practical so I lost my money.
