Food was good, tastes authentic to the Middle East. More authentic than most restaurants, and I have had schwarma at several places in Syria. Hole in the wall, but friendly staff and good food.

The server called me sir and it felt very intentional and I’m obviously a cis woman so idk what that was about. Also, I asked for a tomato cucumber salad and got the cucumber yogurt one. Just very off putting service. Idk if he’s smoking or what

My son decided he wanted Mediterranean food after a long day of UK orientation. We looked for the highest rating and this was it. It’s tiny. Rough. Two tables. Two parking spots. And some of the best, most authentic Med food we have ever had. Probably THE best. We enjoyed Chicken kebobs and lamb shawarma. We don’t value “upscale” over food quality. So no worries about the actual building. (If you care, grab it to go!) Plus, the owner was delightful. While we ate, he shared other food we hadn’t ordered and he explained the cooking processes, the source of his ingredients, his family history and his family’s strong culinary presence in Lexington. Just delightful. “Odie” (forgive me if that’s misspelled) has himself a new best customers my son come August.
