Atmosphere was neat with custom art sculptures. The food was mixed with sone beimg unige and delicious, the others pretty basic fare. The service was not great. It was acceptable but one server was rude. I'd probably not eat there again but we tried it. It's okay.
Located inside the Old courthouse in the heart of downtown!
Good food, friendly service
Great location!
Don't forget to stop in the visitor center also located in the old Courthouse building
Good Southern style choices, (catfish, shrimp and grits)
Nice selection of desserts 😋
The dipping sauce for the catfish and hush puppies was delicious.
Probably just a personal pet peeve but I don't like thin, string (McDonald's) style fries. They do not retain heat... Not big enough to season. I prefer a bigger cut or wedges.
NOTE: the cafe is located inside the Old Courthouse.
Easily missed!
While there, you...
