This restaurant is very unauthentic. Grilled food is too mushy. It tastes very bitter when roasted. The beef tongue is impossible to chew and is extremely hard. I'm from New York. I know I can't compare Japanese BBQ in New York to Kentucky. But it tastes really bad. I hope the chef can go to a big city to taste it and come back to modify the taste. Because the service and meals are terrible。If the food can give 0 points. I will definitely give 0 points

Zundo is one of the best restaurants in Lexington! We've been to Japan, and this is the most authentic Japanese restaurant in the states we've ever been to. Their Gyoza is divine, their ramen is absolutely delicious, and I love their boba/smoothies! We come here several times a month, and the staff are so sweet and kind. You won't be disappointed!!!

Literally amazing. Fantastic service, even when we came in right before close (we felt bad, but our coding class didn’t let out until 8!). The gyoza and volcano sushi roll are incredible. We also got the tonkotsu ramen, which we both agreed was amazing. 10/10, will absolutely return. The waitress was fantastic and so incredibly motivated for great customer service. Love it!

Service was really bad, took our food 1 1/2 hour to come out for a few sushi rolls and two ramen bowls. Our waiter didn't pay attention to us at all and we had to flag down servers for water refills etc. The food was fairly good but took so long to come out it definitely put a damper on the whole experience.
