La cabaña mexican restaurant

They purposely made mine and my mothers food wrong, and she wouldn't eat it so they were laughing at us in the kitchen. Also making jokes. (Ps. We speak Spanish)

This place was a mixed bag. Menu is huge. I got the sampler plate. The standouts were excellent and they were the chile relleno and the tamale. The the red sauce was flavorful and both dishes were mouthwatering. The ground beef that was in the enchilada and the taco was extremely bland. The guacamole was plentiful but heavy on the salt. The chicken was tasty and seasoned well. The chips and salsa that the meal started out with were fresh and good. I look forward to trying the Birria next time.
The ambience was cheerful with lively, Mexican music and bright colors. Everything was clean. The staff were adequate however, there was a language barrier.

Vegetarian options: They had a vegetarian section and many offerings came vegetarian. Also, you can order ala cart.

Parking: Parking right out the front door, plenty of spots.

Kid-friendliness: They have a large menu for children. Also, you can order everything à la cart.

Used to be a frequent customer. Never again. we found steel wool in the chimichanga we ordered. When I called back to tell them what we had found they acted as though there was no problem and hung up on me. So I drove out to the restaurant to return the food and the steel wool. I was then told I could not have a refund because he didn't know how until I insisted then he suddenly knew how. Very Crooked. We won't be to this one or the one in Calhoun or Beaver dam again.... I put the same review on Facebook and they blocked me.

Under new ownership, do not order from them for nothing. Bad food. New owners doubled prices. Cost over $100 for 4 people. Made hubby sick went back and spoke with shift manager, they said we were lying. Never order from them again.

Today was our first time eating here. There were 3 of us and the server was very friendly and polite! We were quickly seated, asked about our drink order, received chips & salsa. The food took about 15 minutes to cook after we placed our order. The presentation of our food was better than any restaurant I'd eaten at before. I had the chicken quesadilla fajita and it was great!! The rice was a little dry, but the chicken tasted amazing!!! The server came back about 3 x's for refills and see if we needed anything. On checkout the guy who rang us up made small talk and was very friendly & pleasant. The bill was very reasonable considering there were 3 of us. Overall a great experience!!! I'd definitely return in the future.
