Lemme tell ya somethin’, cher — if you ain’t been to Durham’s Pit Bar-B-Q, you missin’ out big time! Walked in and that smoky smell hit me like a warm hug from maw-maw. I got that pulled pork plate, and lawd have mercy, it was fall-apart tender with that perfect bark and smoky flavor that dance on your tongue like zydeco music.
Sides were on point too. Folks in there treated us like family, and I ain’t leavin’ without tellin’ ya: this place is the real deal, sha.
Durham’s? They don’t just cook BBQ, they put soul in it. I’ll be back for seconds and bringin’ the whole crew next time!

This place is incredible. They are also carnivore diet friendly! They use beef tallow to cook with. Their queso cheese is also made in-house. None of that pre-canned junk. Brisket is my favorite thing on the menu and highly recommend it to anyone on carnivore. Their other options are incredible as well! If you’re not on a diet, ask about “the pile”. You won’t regret it. Service here is super friendly and top notch. Sometimes the place can be packed out and hardly any place to dine-in. But that is a testament to how incredible this place is. There’s a reason why they stay so busy. Highly worth the wait. You will not be disappointed.

I was here as part of a large party of about 30 folks. The staff were incredibly kind, efficient, and engaging. Even though our big group was a bit of a chaotic, they kept their cool and were INCREDIBLY fast and responsive to our orders. From the kitchen to the front of house, everyone and everything was great. The food was awesome (GET THE BRISKET!), the portions generous, prices fair, and the place itself is very nice. Even the bathrooms were really nice and clean.
This is a fantastic place, if a bit off the beaten path. Do yourself a favor and put Durham's into your rotation of favorite restaurants!
