I attempted to contact you about this. Your link to email on the website only takes you to reservations. I tried to call and your voicemail was full. I dined there Wed 10/22 at the table just beyond the kitchen door. The chair was poking me. Didn’t think much of it until I realized a few days later it tore holes in my jeans.

We were traveling through London and just happened upon this restaurant. What a delight! We started with rum and cokes which were delicious. I had the herb crusted pork which was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. My mom had the southern comfort fried chicken which she said was delicious. The server was attentive and the unique decorations and atmosphere made for a very special dining experience. Highly recommend!

Cool vibe and cute atmosphere. Cocktails are slow but strong and great selection. The Bees Knees with bee pollen is amazing. The old fashion depends on who makes it, so the quality varies. This time, it actually had more than a half oz in it.
They have a fly problem because every time we go there I am always shoeing flys away from my table. I don’t know if it comes in from kitchen and that concerns me if they are landing on the food before it is served.
As for being allergy conscious, they try since they have a GF menu but for other allergies, like me who has a severe dairy allergy, they say that everything is made to order but that is incorrect. It is premade and cannot be changed. The Salmon on a plank is my only option every time I go there and the sides fall off the plank easily. The salmon was nice size but it came with overdone peas and some fingerling potatoes with some sort of burnt on sauce in the plank. No way of getting any sauce. A salad with a refreshing vinaigrette would have coupled better than the peas. No other depth of favor was provided.
My main complaint and reason for writing this is that they charge for substituting ANY side. And I totally get that they may get a lot of requests to change sides from the prearranged menu but our server said despite my allergy of being unable to eat the side, say the cauliflower purée because it has dairy in it, that I would have to pay $3 per side to change it to just something I could even eat. I was wanting to order the filet but would have to change all the sides to something else on the list as they all contained dairy she told me. So I just went back to my regular Salmon.

Furthermore, even tho you can get in fairly easy on a weekend night for a party of two, the wait for your drinks and food is consistently a long wait. That’s why I choose best for smaller groups.
Overall, great for a small town and if you don’t want to change anything on your order.

Hear me out to the end, this restaurant isn't perfect because it took 2hours to get our food which was hard on our kids. BUT - the food tasted INSANELY good. Everything we had from appetizers to dinners were incredible. Husbands steak was perfectly medium rare. The risotto was to die for. I genuinely think their food is worth the wait. The atmosphere was good, the wall was lovely to look at, and the people are kind. We chatted up our neighbors while we waited. Go take a long date night, you won't regret it.

Bunch of kids running around with no purpose, not worth the wait. Chef needs to learn steak temperatures.

We shared the spinach dip it had good flavor but the fried chips were dripping in grease. Cedar Salmon plank shouldn’t come with a side that rolls off the plank on to the table… SMH Steak was a little under done but nothing to complain about. Bordelaise sauce does not have Worcestershire in it so it tasted like A-1 and it may have been (trying to give the benefit of the doubt). The rest of the plate was good veggies and potatoes. Wine got a fly in it half way through the meal had to give me a fresh pour (not a new glass, still had my lip print on it) Extra side of Lemon Herb Risotto sent back because it just tasted like dill. Took the cheesecake home and split it and the top was burnt and inside was just this side of curdled. The chocolate mousse cake was dry and tasted freezer burnt. It’s a nice place but just feels like some of the other “nice” places within an hour they just miss the mark. I feel like they all try to get something over on people cuz it’s the country…. We just want a nice restaurant we can go to regularly that isn’t a chain in our new home town. (Side bar this is our second visit didn’t review first time but not much different)
