Got seated. Waited nearly 20 minutes and asked a server to take our order. The girl stated “You have to wait your turn.” But the people before us had already gotten food and people after us had already had their orders taken. Got up and walked out. Decided to give them a second chance by going through the drive thru and still didn’t get asked at the intercom about what we wanted to order. I use to work for this company (different location) and would never treat customers this way. “You have to wait your turn” this is ridiculous and the girl with the drawn on eyebrows should be fired by management.

Service was quick, but the food was disgusting. We felt like we were eating McDonald’s cheap gross $1 menu cheeseburgers. The food at this location is nothing like any other steak ‘n shake we have stopped at on road trips.From the bun, to the flavorless strange “meat” and way everything was slopped together screams Mickey D’s.

Food was disappointing. Especially given the time we waited for it. My hot dog had absolutely nothing on it and the bun completely fell apart as if it was old. My husband's burger bun was the same as and it wasn't hot. Let's not talk about the room temperature Fries. Lately none of the locations I've been to have been given quality and fresh food...

I'm not a big fan but the family likes it. I like the shakes when they are made right. Unfortunately they aren't consistent in quality. As for the burgers I hardly get it myself just the family does. The meat is to thin and not alot of taste IMO.

So my family and I walk into steak in shake to order our food. We waited ten minutes for them to “cook” our food, we collected the meals and went to the car. Why did we wait all that time for COLD FOOD. I sat there and watched them cook burgers, toast buns, and fry fries. It seems like none of our bread was toasted and our fries were literally stale. On top of that my order was wrong. A number two comes with bacon. I guess all money isn’t good money. The next time we are traveling we will make sure to stay far away from this steak and shake $50 WASTED.

Waiter was friendly, food was decent for what it was/came out fast. Downfall was that the booth was dirty we were sat at. I had to dust pieces of food off the seat/table which made me apprehensive about the meal itself. Refill took longer than it should've considering there was only 2 other tables when we got our drinks, but not too big of a deal for us personally.

Most of our visits here have been pretty good. Food is always hot, shakes are great and customer service is usually pretty good. Only had one bad experience where we found out they raised the price of the 7x7 burger and the DT cashier was rude about the whole situation.
Fast service and good quality food, everything was right. Place was clean. It was a nice experience.

Window worker was super rude. Opened the window, handed the bag out and shut the window without a word. We waited a minute to request a missing extra, but they did not return. When I parked and walked in, the workers were ominously silent. I felt uncomfortable watching them in their silence as I waited 2 more minutes to be greeted and get my missing item. The atmosphere was unlike any kitchen I'd seen. My burger was good, not great, but fries had become cold. ?

Disappointed at a whole new level.. stopped here as we were passing thru decided steak n shake sounded like a good idea. Nope! My husband's burger was cold, fries - cold and unseasoned, not enough straws in the bag, didn't ask if we wanted condiments for chicken strips or fries. Just not a great overall experience. I usually love steak n shake. So Disappointed.

Place was extremely understaffed. Had one kid doing the whole dining room by himself he ran himself to death and everyone in the back was yelling at him And it was busy...me and my wife just ordered shakes and a bunch of the shakes were taken off the menu...and the place was a wreck but what do you expect with one guy trying to take orders,fill orders and cash people out! While getting yelled at. I felt so sorry for him.

Their food is so great my fiancè had to get seconds (which he never does). They are very clean! One of the staff even wiped the table down in front of us before we were seated.All the staff was polite and friendly. The place felt welcoming and family friendly. I highly recommend!! We will be back again.
