We were on a Bourbon Tour and this place was close to Makers Mark. The place is OK and given there is not much else around it is a good stop for lunch. Mostly sandwiches, fried and i believe they had a few specials.
Hadn't been here in several years. But it was the same. We were out riding motorcycles ,enjoying an 80 degree day and stopped there for lunch. The good is always delicious. Never gotten anything bad there. From the prime rib to appetizers all delicious. And the lady behind the bar was so sweet and we talked about where we live now and she made suggestions for us to visit some other places and gave us some good info...we had the fried pickles and the sampler, which had a...
Bar style with games to play, so it's family friendly. Server was nice, her name was "Cheyna" and greeted me as soon as I walked through the door. They were out of catfish, but the pork tenderloin was local (Kentucky.) Informed me about the cheese on the tenderloin sandwich (which I didn't want.) Food was quick and hot and the onion rings were delicious. Pickles were on the commercial side, didn't taste like homemade brined.
