CLOSED DOWNUnfortunately this place seems to be closed down (permanently?).
Everything started off great. Our server was good.. he was gone a lot.. we first got our salads and I had a hair in mine so biggie he fixed it and replaced it.. then the food came out and the Mac and cheese was ice cold my chicken was supper tough. The fried catfish was amazing and so was the fried green tomatoes. But what really got me was on the back of the menu at the bottom they wrote in prices my vary. And that is not right. If I only had 10 dollars and I based it of what it says and it 2 or more dollars more I wouldn’t have enough. NEED TO FIX PRICES.

Alright, The Catfish was very good! the service was fast and friendly. In Louisa this is the place to eat. Now here, The Coleslaw was the greatest I have eaten outside my Mom's kitchen, I try coleslaw everywhere it is offered. This is the best by far. I spoke to the cook and complemented her on her coleslaw. Made the way it should be made. It came in a nice size bowl! The coleslaw is enough to bring me back time and again. Somebody kiss the cook for me.

Good service and food. A little chilly in the restaurant but the girls were running like crazy being excellent waitresses so I can understand why they woukd want it a tad on the chilly side.Overall, for being from out of town, we appreciate the mom and pop restaurants and this is one you should not look over when looking for a bite to eat.

Due to an upcoming menu update they were out of a lot of foods. Most of what they did have was really good!! Would recommend!

We both got the Philly Cheesesteak. It was meh. I’m assuming this place gets 5 star reviews because everyone that came into the restaurant knew the staff and the other patrons. If you’re visiting from out of town, I would suggest an alternative restaurant.
Awesome Food and Service!

The pulled chicken exhibited notable dryness, while the ribs, mac and cheese, and grilled cheese dishes offered a more satisfactory experience. It is advisable to peruse the menu carefully, as prices are subject to alteration. The server provided a commendable level of service throughout the dining experience.

Great family restaurant! The food is delicious. The service is excellent. We tried a lot of the appetizers. The fried pickles and the wild hog bites were my favorites. The queso was good but would've been better if it was a little hotter. Potato skins are great, served with pulled pork on top.BBQ burger was excellent. The pigtail fries are unique and were perfectly crispy.Overall, great experience.

We stopped cause of the recommendation of the local Best Western worker. Let me tell you, best food I've had from a restaurant in a long time. Everything was cooked perfect. Was a little long on wait but perfection takes time. Definitely recommend and will come back anytime we are on town!

Excellent service. We stopped in on our way from Ohio to North Carolina. Our server Kennedy was awesome, so we decided to stop again on our way back through. Cameron was our server and he was awesome too. The food was good and plenty of it, but the service was 2nd to none. They were so friendly and welcoming. Our group of 6 was sure impressed and would highly recommend Huckleberry's to anyone.

My wife and I had lunch. We ordered one appetizer, she had one of the specials of the day and I had a burger and fries, plus drinks. The food was mediocre at best her country steak was very plain, my burger was dry as dry can be. For the total of $47 you think you would have a fairly good meal. Not to mention the service was very slow, considering there was only one other table with people. Several tables with dirty dishes . Needless to say we probably won't be back.

The prime rib is definitely something you don't wanna eat. They give you some random smoked pork .. they will not refund you in any way and tell you to kick
