Carus is extremely personable. He's a wonderful storyteller, very relatable, and funny. He has the ability to make you care about the brand because it was built on hard work and curiosity with a pinch of serendipity. This is a must stop if you're in the area and you want some good unique whiskey and bourbon. The tour was amazing and entertaining. This is a true micro distillery where they make small batches of everything. We bought a couple different products but we wish we would have bought more because it's amazing
We had a great time touring with Carus! He brought us through the context and history of Second Sight. We had loads of fun learning about this place and all of the work that went into the design and development of the distillery. The tastings were incredible and we got to sample & purchase things we had never had the opportunity of trying before! Group favorite was the Applepie Moonshine - favorite cocktail that I am still raving about was the Harvest Moon!
