Drove 30 minutes to eat there. Doors were locked despite having an 8pm closing timenpost on the door. I called to ask what was going on and was told they decided to close at 7 because "it was kinda slow" !! Will NOT waste my time or gas again. Food is good but will they be open when you get there?

We stopped and ate on Aug.23,2024 and it is unbelievable the amount of food they serve!! Great home-cooked food,,homemade pies and cakes.The pork chops was almost as big as your plate and delicious!!We loved it and they serve everything on the buffet you could want. We will return when we come near Madisonville,KY again.

We LOVE the country cupboard! It is mine and my husband’s “go-to” place when we go out for a meal. We always leave full, and NEVER disappointed. The food is always amazing and the staff are super friendly. We recommend this restaurant to everyone who asks where can they go eat when in town. It’s affordable too!

We stopped in during a road trip from Indiana to Florida and had some of the best food on the entire trip! My wife is originally from Kentucky and she felt like she was back home. It was very reasonably priced, the staff was friendly and the food delicious! We will definitely stop back by when in the area but might even consider a four hour trip each way to eat there again!
