Don't just steal tips from your workers.

One star, since the owners keep the servers tips!!! Would recommend eating somewhere where the servers keep their hard earned money.

My wife and I were here for breakfast a couple months ago. Good food, great service, decided to make this our go-to place. Today, not so much. Felt like it didn't matter if we were there or not. Slow service, wife had to ask twice for coffee creamer, never got it. Finally canceled the order and left. Don't know if we'll try again.

So awkward to walk in and have everyone staring your way. The food and atmosphere is plain depressing. Doesn't feel clean.

I had 2 orders. I was told 5 minutes and I arrived right on time. The food was ice cold.No napkins or silverware was given to eat the food with. The lady that checked me out seemed to be high and couldn’t figure out what she was doing.Definitely a bad experience and will not be returning!

Hey, if you want a warm, welcoming, laid back atmosphere with absolutely nothing but the "BEST" food in the City of Barbourville, this is your place!! I want to go in and visit every time I come to town. ???

Came here on the 23rd of December at about 12 pm. They asked us what we wanted to drink, only to be told they're out of tea. Then we were told they were out of a menu item. We were asked if we wanted to wait until the rest of our party arrived so the food would be brought out at the same time. It did not. The restaurant was not busy at all and the service was still not the best. I wanted to order hasbrowns and I was told they didn't have hashbrowns but just patties. All of the food seems like grocery bought frozen foods. One of our party members ordered an egg roll and arrived frozen in the middle. This place has been open since just after October and they still haven't worked the kinks out of running a restaurant. Highly suggest going elsewhere in Barbourville for your country cooking needs.

Would've been nice to have had breakfast at Sophia’s Country Kitchen this morning, but unfortunately everyone else at my table had finished eating and I still hadn't gotten my food (they weren't busy at all either- only 3 other tables of customers). I decided that I wasn't going to keep hounding them for my order, so we decided to leave. It would've been nice to have gotten an apology, but didn't get that either. It didn't seem to bother them that 20 minutes after the others at my table were served, I still hadn't gotten my breakfast.
I am one of the most understanding people when it comes to wait staff and store employees, and I am not someone to complain on Facebook, but this one was just ridiculous. The food there is good, but based on this visit and a few others we've made, there are obvious problems with service that need to be worked out.
