They have a delicious salmon meal if you don’t want fried food. The staff is very friendly and always smiling!

I think they’ve changed the fish at Captain D’s. I took one bite, and I immediately knew that it wasn’t the usual fish. Rather than a clean taste, this fish almost had an earthy/dirty taste to it. It was kind of off-putting. The batter was the same, and the filets were hot. But, the fish was definitely not the same - to the point that I couldn’t eat it. Everything else was okay, but I won’t be going back until they go back to the old fish.
The food was the usual fish and chips. The staff was friendly and the food was hot. The inside was clean and well stocked.

Went inside and waited about 15-20 minutes for food, only for it to be mistakenly given to the DoorDash driver. Had to wait another 10 minutes or so to be given the correct order. No apologies or compensation offered.
A previous time I went, waited about 30+ minutes in the drive through.
Shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes just to get your order.

Waited 45 minutes for food. It came out and had no hush puppies. Said it would be another 5 minutes. Like to have not got my refund

My son and I are here on 10-15 at around 2:45pm. One girl working the drive thru, and front counter. She did awesome handling both positions. Shout out to the cook too! Food was hot, and fresh. We drove from Martin. Well worth the trip. Thank you ❤️

I wanted 46 minutes for my food. This night was Not a fast food night. The fish was good. The baked potato was hard and I wasn't given butter sour cream or a spork to eat with.

Tried to order large order for multi family meal, internet ordering was down. Wouldn't let me check out. So we called the store, they said NO phone orders. Went and ordered this large order in drive thru, took us over an hour to get through line, large order in front of us too, Food was hot and good but we ordered fried okra and got broccoli instead. Mix reviews on this whole experience

My husband got us two take home fish and shrimp dinners. The slaw smelled spoiled, fries were soggy , the hush puppies were so oily you could press drops of oil out of them. The fried shrimp was tough as leather. The fish was ok. Hate to spend money for food we have to throw out because most of it is inedible. Won’t be back or recommend.

Order sat there for an hour before a dasher picked up. Delivered at 10:01pm
After an hour of sitting there waiting, a manager SHOULD HAVE thrown it in the trash and remade when dasher arrived. Everything was trash. Got a credit of $11 on a $24 meal is ridiculous.

Food is fine, but the past two times I've eaten here the drive thru took 45 minutes! Workers don't seem to care either. Place needs to either be staffed properly or close, honestly. It's sad because this place used to be a good restaurant pre covid.
We used to love eating at captain D in mayfield. But they have got where they just don’t care. The chicken used to be nice size now they are bite size the quality of the food is awful and the employees are so rude. I went through the drive thru last night ordered my food with 4 breadsticks. Waited what seemed like forever and when I got my food and drove off I stopped and checked my order. Of course it was wrong they left out an order of the breadsticks. I got to the window there was 4 employee standing up front when I explained to the cashier I was shorted the man I assume the cook got smart and said did u order 1 or 2 the cashier quickly said yes she order 4 breadsticks in total he acted like it made him mad no sorry nothing. While I’m waiting for them to cook the girl on the headset who was taking an order said to the customer “would you stop talking while I’m trying to talk” I was shocked when she gave me my food I said did you really just tell that customer to stop talking she then said” they couldn’t hear me well guess what I did and I don’t think your owners would want their employees talking to customers that way. She slammed the window and I left please address this issue so people can enjoy captain D again
