I was going in here thinking that the food would be good compared to the reviews. I was not a fan. My sliced ham was so soft. Like the flavor had been boiled out of it. The cabbage had absolutely no salt and was smooshy. The corn bread was hard and grainy. The waitress literally only checked on us when we ordered and brought the food. No drink refill offer or anything until we were paying to leave. The atmosphere was loud and obnoxious. Everyone was basically sitting on top of each other. Maybe it is just a locals sit and stay.

I went in there hungry they had a special meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans ready to go. It was delicious, and I was in and out in under fifteen minutes. Place was clean staff was friendly. The sweet tea reminded me of grandma's.

Biscuits burnt on bottom, gravy runny like water, hash brown is a frozen grease fried rock, home fries over cooked, sausage thin and limp, bacon over cooked almost a potatoe chip, and coffee was fair.
Good little reasturant. They have a long bar with seats or table seating. Friendly people. You can watch them prepare your food. All open inside and nicely decorated. Home town feel. The ham sandwich I ordered had great taste and flavor, pecan pie was good also. Good service and decent prices.
