Capronis Restaurant & Bar

I highly recommend this restaurant. Everything about it was a 10 out of 10. Food was great. Tim the server was awesome and had a great personality. Shout out to the folks on the grill/in the kitchen.

Nice place with great view of the river. Good catfish dinner plate. Prices quite reasonable compared to a similar place you might visit in Cincinnati. Very friendly and attentive waitress. Atmosphere was pleasant with a live singing duo.

I've lived in the area my whole life and had never ventured into Capronis. If you're story is similar, don't wait any longer. Everything was amazing. My only complaint is that the server didn't tell me how large the Goat Cheese and Apple Salad was. That said, it was so incredibly delicious that I finished it, along with an appetizer and my main course. My wife and I had a wonderful experience.

Beautiful location, right on the river with amazing views. The restaurant is a bit upscale and although busy they found us a table.

The food was very good and they accommodated for my allergies, which makes the experience wonderful.

I went there to celebrate my birthday and it did not disappoint. I ordered the sea bass and it was amazing. For dessert it was the birthday tiramisu. Delicious. We love Capronis. The atmosphere is wonderful, with live dinner music. Service is always great.

The bread was dry and hard The lasagna was burnt. The waiter offered a new piece of lasagna which was burnt also they tried to cover it up with sauce. The hush puppies were old and dried up

Can never go wrong here! Phenomenal Shrimp Cocktail and Bruschetta for appetizers! Chicken Scallopini Picatta is my go-to every single time for main course. (Get the capers on the side and they come cold, makes it a very refreshing meal!)

Desserts are always top tier. Highly recommend the cheesecake or the Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake Cake when they have it. Always great service, great atmosphere with a beautiful view of the Ohio River.

First time to Caproni's and it will not be the last. We drove an hour to get there but the food and ambience made up for it. We were seated 5 minutes prior to our reservation time by welcoming and polite staff. Our server was to notch meeting all requests. From appetizers to the dessert we found all dishes quite pleasant. We also enjoyed the live music, which was played at a volume that still allowed comfortable conversation for our family. We will definitely be returning.

My husband and I came to Caproni's for a night out and it was very enjoyable. The staff were very kind and helpful. The atmosphere is calm, yet classy. We enjoyed live entertainment that fit the scene. The view of the Ohio River is always an added bonus. 10 out of 10 would recommend this dining experience.

Our server failed to tell us the king crab meal would serve 2 people. We ordered 2 and had tons left over. It was well overpriced. Each "meal" was $110. I spent almost $300 on this meal. The brussell sprouts were mushy and were in a brown gravy, the worst Ive ever had. My drinks were even worse. I got a dirty martini which wasnt good. Tried the sangria first and it was awful. Very disappointing meal. Had our server offered some advice about the meal that would have been helpful. I had to ask him what the specials were! Overall I would not recommend it. I used to love going there but its doubtful I will ever return after this visit.
