The vice president of my company and myself(president) drove an hour to enjoy a nice meal and to dine in. When we arrived the parking lot was empty except for the staff. We walked into an empty restaurant with the rugs pulled up and chairs up at 8:45, an hour before close. We waited at the counter for ten minutes and watched a waitress walk past us and go to the bar, totally ignoring us and the. Disappearing behind a door. We called the restaurant and asked if they were still open or serving. They answered from the back of the restaurant instead of where we were standing at the front desk. They assured they were open and that kitchen staff likes to start closing down at 9 ( an hour earlier than the actual closing time of 10). Even after we spoke to them on the phone, no one came out. We ended up walking out and going to a local competitor and spending our $50 elsewhere.
Would not recommend visiting after 8pm. Very disappointing experience.

I have always had good experiences at DeSha’s and today my friends and I had the best experience. We were greeted by a friendly waitress named Mel and she rolled out the red carpet for us. Truly a delight as she gave great recommendations along with great conversation. Thank you DeSha’s and thank you Mel! We will be back!

The only reason we had known is because we had overheard two of the servers talking. We asked the hostess if this was true, she said it was. They had been out of chocked for a while and they had just ran out of the salad. No one had bothered to let any of us waiting know. We walked out, with several others that had been waiting for a table.
