We did some shopping in Maysville, as we were leaving we decided we stop for a drink at Kenton Stories in downtown. We went in with our masks on. We were the only customers. Before I sat down the bartender said no more food tonight. Not a hello or welcome. I said ok we just want a drink. My wife ordered wine and I ordered a gin martini. The guy kept asking me was I sure that's what I wanted. I said yes. My wife went and looked at the books and came back with a couple. The guy asked why were we wearing masks. I said I had health issues. He said we were creeping him out and asked us to get the f@@@ out. Our drinks were on the bar. Mine was not a martini. It was brown. So we left. Won't be back there.

The staff were absolutely wonderful, the food was very creative and delicious, not to mention the amazing bourbon selection!
This was a fun little stop over. A really cute and fun place with some good food and a nice selection of bourbon and scotch to select from. If you are in the area it is a fun place to stop by and grab a little bite and a drink.
We loved it! Rob is the best! Have to try the bourbon slushy!

Their famous Bourbon Slush deserves to be "famous"and their sandwiches are great; all hand made to orderAnd don't be fooled if you go in the store and no one is eating there; we've been there twice and no one was there (but it was on a weekend and early afternoon).......

Super cool place in Maysville! I sat at the bar with a book and had the Southwest Chicken Wrap and a cocktail. It was such a friendly atmosphere that I stayed an extra night in Maysville and returned for dinner here again. Connie is very friendly and I enjoyed my time at Kenton's Stories With Spirit. An aptly named place.

What a fabulous place. We paused a while here on a very quiet Sunday. Bourbon was tasty and a great choice. We didn’t eat here but the menu looked ok. Loved the fact it’s a book shop and gallery too. Tastefully decorated, great selection of books and art. Definitely worth diverting off the main route if you are travelling through Kentucky
