The s’mores dessert was insane! I brought it home to my fiancé after dinner with friends without looking at it and we were both blown away with how great it looked and tasted. Way fancier than we expected.I was pleasantly surprised by the menu. They had classics like chicken pot pie, specialty hot dogs like you would expect from the name, but also lighter options if you’re looking for something fresh like a tuna salad place with crudités.

Love this place! I've been a few times on different days and times and even when super busy I always get great service!Really good food, burgers, dogs, sandwiches and a few more surprising items for this type place .Parking: Small lot for how busy they are but a couple lots next door that you can use and walk just a bit.Kid-friendliness: If you need a sling/highchair and they are busy you may have to wait a bit for a table that accommodates it better than thr high tops but other than that it's family Friendly.
Double Dog’s Middletown13307 Shelbyville RdLouisville, KY3/20/24Our Condo Association went to Double Dog’s tonight for supper. This is the second trip we’ve made. Our whole group wasn’t able to sit together tonight but 2 groups were at 2 long tables and the rest of us were grouped into parties of four at the square tables.Danielle was our server tonight. She was incredibly sweet and took our drink orders and very quickly brought them to the tables. She came around and we ordered our entrees. She very patiently answered our questions. Several of us thought about ordering the chicken pot pie. It sounded delicious but we were afraid that it was going to be a lot more food than we could eat so several of us had to rethink and bless her heart she was so patient. I ordered a chicken tender meal and fries as my side. My husband ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger with OnionRings. One of the other ladies at our table ordered a Mushroom & Swiss Burger with a side salad. And the last order had been ordered in shifts, first the Onion Rings with hot buffalo sauce and then later when our orders were coming out she’d have chicken strips. Danielle kept our glasses filled. While we waited for our food the conversation turned to dogs, and of course I had to get my grand-puppy’s picture out. We really didn’t have a long wait to get our food. We all enjoyed our food and agreed that the food was really good. Danielle came around to figure how many checks there would be at our table, came back very quickly, and handed them to the correct person.We really had a great time. The ambiance in the restaurant was family oriented. There were so many TVs, I didn’t even try to count them. It was a bit loud but we were still able to hear each other talk.Before we left, my husband went over to the host desk and boughtbags of peanut butter dog treats for us to take home as Easter gifts for our dogs. We’ll go back again.Parking: This restaurant is in a shopping center and there is plenty of parking. It was almost full tonight but we circled around and someone was leaving. We were able to park right across from the side entrance.

Such a cool place. SIT. STAY. EAT. that's some cute word play. Walking in there's a portrait of the two founding dogs and inside more and more doggie decor. All the popular sports figures are drawn into cartoon dogs. It's a really nice sports bar, lots of options on draft. Long happy hour and daily drink specials. Brendan our server was amazing. So attentive. I was very impressed when he asked how my friend wanted his egg cook on his burger. I'm very particular about my eggs and I've had bad experiences ordering egg on my burger. I ordered the spicy bread as an appetizer. Then decided to try the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese too. Everything was delicious.

Excellent place... to go with family or friends to have a good time, good food, good service, my family and I go to that place very often... we had a good time... I recommend it...
Walked in for lunch, sat down and ordered, and then watched the manager stop the kitchen from cooking for at least a 15 minute meeting about things they needed to work on. This whole time no one was cooking, and we sat there and watched the entire staff get lectured instead of making our food. A server fixed themself some food and ate it right in front of us. After about 20 minutes, we walked out because our food hadnt even been started, and they were still talking. Hopefully everyone else waiting got to eat before their lunch break was up. Whatever the manager was talking about, he made their service worse.

Very upset! Gave my order and cashier repeat what I stated. Get home , there is no sauerkraut in the bag. Call back only for manager to apologize but really tells me it is my fault in a nice way. I drove 20 miles to and from to only not have what I ordered. Teach your staff to listen when taking orders.
