Went during the festival service was not great. Food was okay .Would like to go when they had no festival to be fair.

Not our first time here and certainly will not be our last.
Both the fried chicken entree and the meat loaf are great.
We just order one of each and share.
If you live within an hour of here, it's worth the drive.

This is a very nice, reasonably priced restaurant in a little town in Kentucky known for it's railroad history. The town has lovely little shops and wonderful restaurants. It's a tourist trap... But well worth the visit. A couple of other restaurants were very nice too but much more expensive. We said outside and it was wonderful.

Sat outside with friends. Perfect night.

Started with onion rings, they were okay. Not very flavorful unless you dip them in the spicy ranch sauce.

The strawberry frosty lemon drink was really good.

The Rachel was good, but not the most flavorful.

The pepperoni pizza was great. Homemade sauce was very good.

The reuben was a 4 star too.

Brussel sprouts are fried. Fries were really good.

This place is on another level, wonderful people, food, service!
If you're lucky you'll get Macey at the bar and you'll be happy you did!
The Rachel with Brussel Sprouts are the best!

Outstanding!!! It seems like lately I am lucking into hitting some great spots. This one is no exception. Service and food were really on point, and tasted fantastic! I attacked the hush puppies pretty quickly, they come in a larger quantity. :-) so good!!!!

We try to eat at local places especially one in a historic area. The restaurant is located in a historic building so that was very cool. The old wood decor was nice. The service was great and timely. Looking at the plates of other folks, the sandwiches looked great and they may be the best way to go. Unfortunately, my wife got the meatloaf which did not have much flavor and she did not finish it. The green beans are good. I got the chicken, but it was out of a bag and the batter fell off as I ate it. If you eat here I suggest trying the sandwiches.

Lauren was our waitress , she was phenomenal !
Very kind , professional and attentive .
The atmosphere was inviting , cool on a hot June day .
I had the bacon cheeseburger , which was a little salty , but besides that , delicious !
My friend had the Reuben , which he said was fantastic !
The potato salad was the best part of the meal !
Would definitely recommend .

This was a nice little stop! Decided to dive in to Midway for no reason other than it was lunch time and we were near by. Saw the Goose and Gander and decide to give it a try. soft drink and an adult drink, salad, fish sandwitch, and a pretzel with beer cheese.

The staff was really nice. And had a wry sense of humor.....The Lemonchelo Manhatten was fab, and the salad and fish sandwitch were good meals...... but the pretzel and beer cheese was SO GOOD! To try to explain the chewy/tender nuances of the Pretzel and the PERFECTLY balance flavor of the cheese is just not possible. You MUST go and have one as part of a meal.... or get two as the meal.....

As a side note....Midway was a fun little town surrounded by beautiful countryside... it was a relaxing and refreshing place to visit....

Food was good, service was incredibly slow. We weren’t helped until like 30 minutes of waiting. We ended up leaving at around two hours for a table of 5 and an a nearly empty restaurant.
