Amazing! A wonderful experience. Food is so amazing. One of the best ribeyes I have had in my life.
Servers were efficient, warm, and knowledgeable. The prix fixe menu had options for vegetarians. Interesting local food ingredients gave every dish complex layers of delicious flavors. The bar made a perfect gin gimlet, and we appreciated the amuse bouche which set the bar for the courses that followed.
Everything was perfect as always at Holly Hill. We did miss not getting a signed card from the staff for our anniversary. We have one from our wedding night and one from our first anniversary. It was a very nice personal touch that we saved and my wife looked forward too.
The food was quite good. Some of it was a little heavy on seasoning but still tasty. Service was good but slow. I think they want you to have an experience so keep things at a slow pace. The server was great so it was not him just the pacing of each course.
Always have a wonderful dining experience at Holly Hill! Holly Hill is our go to place for special occasions! The food is amazing' There's nothing like it!
This was my first time at Holly Hill Inn. It was an incredible experience, and the food was unique and delicious. I'll be back soon!
Split decision... My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary with a visit to the “Ark Encounter” and dinner at Holly Hill Inn, a restaurant that I've been eager to experience for nearly ten years. The first two courses of this prix fixe-style menu were quite satisfying, everything one would expect from an establishment of “fine dining” caliber; and the amuse-bouche was a nice touch. Our entrees, however, took distinctly separate paths. My wife loved the (perfectly prepared) Arctic char, while I received a rather disappointing (and too rare) duck breast. I'm seldom disappointed to the extent of sending something back to the kitchen, but this was one such incident. To their credit, our server returned my dish fairly quickly, “warmed to medium”. Our desserts followed a similar pattern: hers was satisfying, while mine was... tart and difficult to cut. Ok, I got the apple tart, but I thought it would be at least somewhat sweet. Nope. So, overall, my wife thought the experience was somewhere around “4” or “5”, while I would score it a “3”. I doubt that we will return.
Just overall a very disappointing experience. Over 4 hours for a prix fixe menu and they ended up being out of one of the desserts. That was the least of our issues! The service was very slow with tons of ‘’misses’ with wine service, requests forgotten, etc. We could have dealt with all that had the food been up to par. However, the duck was tough, the ribeye gristly, the lamb super fatty. Definitely not worth the price. It’s a shame for such a wonderful venue! And complaints got excuses and zero satisfaction!

Took nearly 4hrs to complete our meal, beverages were not timed with courses, one beverage not even brought out, had to ask for it and was told it was not part of the package, then she realized it was 2 courses later. Also the steak was chewy/grisly, did not eat it. The shrimp was chewy. Ordered 6 only ate 1. Ordered the cream brûlée, but they were out. Cheese plate was ordered. We asked for crackers they didn’t bring until the main course. The food overall was very salty. I could go on but won’t. Was very disappointed as I was really looking forward to this meal.

We did the Pre-Fixe dinner for a group of 10. It took 4 hours! The service was slow. They had to wait for the wine to chill before they could serve it. That took a hour! What? We had to ask several times for more crackers for the charcuterie. They took our bread plates before we were done with the charcuterie! They ‘forgot’ the first wine pairing. The duck was tough. The ribeye was gristly. All in all a disappointing experience!

So delicious! Celebrated my wife’s 45th birthday there tonight and let me tell you the food was next level. Above next level. Compliments to not only the chef but everyone! Our wait staff was phenomenal, Jackie the manager is the sweetest person.
Chicken livers were amazing! So crunchy, and tender. Perfectly seasoned!
The ribeye was juicy and cooked absolutely perfect medium rare just like I like it. There’s this sauce that came with it, I thought no, I don’t do sauce on a quality steak, and then I tried it!!!! Wow! I’d put that one everything if I could. They need to bottle that and sell it. Amazing!
But let me tell you the star of the evening. The Pawpaw Crème Brûlée. I can’t even think of words. The sugar sure, that was nice there’s a little cookie, wonderful as well. But I can’t tell you how creamy and flavorful the custard is. You have to experience it! I swear, I’d eat it off the floor with a squeegee!!! If this wasn’t a fine dining establishment, I would’ve gotten it all in my beard licking the bowl! Haha! All jokes aside, seriously one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. Crazy good!!!!
Great job guys!!! Thank you all so much!

We had a lovely experience & delicious food for our dinner there. Would definately go back.
I took my wife here for her birthday, and this was a very enjoyable evening. The food was outstanding. That was the best dinner we have ever had. The ambiance and the staff were amazing. We will definitely return for another dinner.
Excellent brunch appetizers and entrees. Both of us took the desserts home so as not to overstuff ourselves at mid-day.
Fabulous as always! Fall Blush menu was one of my very favorite meals at HH and we are frequent flyers here.
