My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. We have been married over 30 years and have eaten at many fine restaurants through the years. I am not exaggerating at all when I say, we were blown away at essentially everything about Holly Hill Inn. Upon entering we were greeted with warm, friendly smiles and professional hospitality. Our dining room was to the left of the foyer and was cozy and full of charm. We started with cocktails and my wife stated it's one of the "best" she's ever had. Our 4 course meal was an absolute "10". We commented over and over with each bite, from the starter, through the main course, and desert, how incredibly delicious, fresh, and flavorful each one was. Hands down, the best dinner ever! Thank you!
So was looking forward to this reservation. The service was pretty unacceptable but I do not blame our waitress. She was most apologetic, there was a kitchen breakdown. An hour and a half after being seated we had our drink order and just received course one. Most dishes were very good, scallops mediocre as was the pork chop. But the chicken was excellent and the desserts some of best we've ever had. Ended up being almost three hours and that was too long for a table of 2. Not sure if low staff issue or what, but sadly our kind waitress was about the only positive.
Been hearing about Holly Hill Inn for years, and it lived up to the hype! The food was absolutely phenomenal. We were impressed by all of the eight dishes we shared. The staff were wonderful, and the property was gorgeous. I was also pleasantly surprised to see non-alcoholic wine options. Highly recommend!!!
We loved our anniversary celebration here. All the food was fresh and vegetables were right off the farm at the restaurant. Only slight negative was that service took almost 2 hours for 4 course meal but perfection takes time :)
My family and I went for my birthday, and couldn't have enjoyed it more. We went for brunch, and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful setting, excellent service, and absolutely delicious food. This has been my pick for two special occasions now, and I'm certain it won't be my last.
It was an amazing experience from greeting at the door till ending with dessert. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and made us feel special throughout the entire time we were there. The food was so fresh and had the best blend of flavors. There is no match to the overall experience here compared to other restaurants around the area.
Outstanding farm to table menu with changes depending on the availability. Mussels appetizer was my favorite but everyone else head the cucumber salad. Zucchini dish presented like fried green tomatoes was excellent. Main dishes were amazing as were desserts. Recommend the wine pairing which matched perfectly.
Holly Hill Inn never disappoints! This was our first visit for brunch, and we were delightfully impressed with the menu offerings, the quality and presentation of the food, and the value based on the quantity of food we were served. Now that we've had brunch there, it will be hard to decide between brunch or dinner reservations in the future. A perfect spot to take out of town guests as well!
We drove from Louisville to visit this Midway GEM. We enjoyed the exceptional Ambience-Food -service and the incredible teamwork by the staff of Holly Hills. This restaurant should be on every diner's list of must visit. The price-fix menu is innovative and worth it. BRAVO !
Our favorite experience of the weekend! Gorgeous property, sprawling gardens with walking paths to explore, and beautiful dining area. Service was top notch and the food was so well-prepared and flavorful. 10/10 must visit!

Lovely place to dine. We were given a nice private spot to dine, and the service by our wait staff was outstanding. The pork chop was amazing, but some of the other dishes could have been improved - the starter was delicious but particularly skimpy. The other table in the dining room was talking about how the prime rib was overcooked compared to what they had ordered. Our rolls were burnt. We had to ask for new ones when the first batch should never have left the kitchen. And the two desserts based on the 3 choices that day were just okay - the flavor profiles were not delicious. For the fairly high price you pay, most aspects were excellent, but a few of the food items were a disappointment.
For the first time in many visits to our favorite restaurant the service was poor, quality of food was poor and for a Pre-fix dinner it took 2 and 1/2 hours to the finish.
My daughter is a vegetarian with seafood allergies and our server accommodated her needs perfectly by customizing the menu. It was a lovely evening - we were able to talk as the room was quiet and comfortable. The pace of the meal was slow which was perfect for my daughter's birthday dinner. Overall, one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Ouita was present, greeting guests, making the evening even more special.
We've now eaten at HHI twice for brunch and once for dinner. Excellent every time! We're new to the area and are quickly making it our go-to place when out-of-town guests are here. It's a lovely way to show friends the essence and appeal of living in the Midway/Georgetown community.
It was a lovely summer evening and we were able have dinner on the porch overlooking the beautiful trees fron lawn. My dinner partner is vegetarian, They brought us an amuse bouche to start our meal. It turned out to have pork in it, so she declined. Without asking, our waitress soon returned and had a vegetarian version for her. She was thrilled to see a vegetarian entree. She let me taste it and it was delicious. There is a nice variety of menu choices that look as good as they tasted. My favorite central KY restaurant.
