Celebrated my birthday at Holly Hill. Staff was so kind and attentive. Had a beautiful 3 course meal with wine pairing. Then we decided to add the cheese plate. The local cheeses- especially Kenny’s were amazing. The sunchoke bisque with carrot top pesto was SO good! Pacing of service was great too. Such a warm, inviting little retreat!

This is our 3rd visit to Holly Hill. We have yet to taste anything we didn't like. Their wine pairings are excellent and cocktails are phenomenal. The wife and I will try the brunch next.

Holly Hill is amazing g little place which gives amazing service as well incredible dishes with unique flavors. The staff was very attentive which rare these days.Service and Food were spot on.

I visited Holly Hill Inn off there recommendation of a co-worker. Enticed by the cozy atmosphere and high praises of the venue my significant other and I went as an early Valentine's Day dinner. To experience the entire menu we tried the seven course offering. The staff was phenomenal and attentive to our needs and the initial menu offerings were phenomenal. However the main entree was significantly wanting with both the flavors being over shadowed by a an intense flavor of sauces. We ultimately didn't end up finishing either entree. Perhaps this was a one off situation and it was simply poor choice of menu offerings this time and with different offerings we would have been more impressed for the cost.

The food was delicious! Unfortunately we were seated in a room with one other couple and a party of 12 with only one main server. Once the large party arrived, we had very slow service. This was not a server problem but a management problem

My husband ate at Holly Hill Inn tonight. It was great! Every course was flavorful and cooked just right. We didn’t get the optional appetizers, though they sounded wonderful. I am glad I had plenty of room for the soup, steak and banana cake. When we first came in, noises coming from the kitchen were a little loud, but as more people filled the room and the evening got underway the kitchen noises disappeared. The wait staff were friendly and attentive.

There are several Ouida Michel restaurants in Lexington and they are all worth many visits, but Holly Hill is easily our favorite. Not only is the food outstanding, but the staff are considerate, but never intrusive. This is the place to dine for a memorable experience.

ALWAYS delicious, the brunch is a perfect way to start the day. The staff is so very efficient, polite, and knowledgeable. We don't just come for special times. This brunch is on repeat.

I've dined several times at Holly Hill Inn, and have enjoyed each visit. This was my first visit for Sunday brunch. Both my wife and I were disappointed with the food quality. I ordered an omelet with crab, shrimp, and mushroom. The mushroom overpowered the dish and did not seem at all complimentary of the subtle flavors of crab and shrimp. The crab seemed like something from a can off the shelf. It was definitely NOT high quality crabmeat. My wife ordered eggs Benedict. It was so salty she could eat only half of it. I tried a bite of her eggs Benedict and also found something to be extremely salty. I did thoroughly enjoy the ham biscuits and cinnamon scone. If I return for brunch I definitely will order something else. Also, I found the woman who seated us to be unfriendly, as if she would have enjoyed her job if not for the customers.

Always an amazing experience at Holly Hill Inn! Our server Connor took us through a wonderful menu by guest chef Nokee Bacuya. Definitely 10/10. Would recommend, will return each month for their new menu. Thank you Holly Hill Inn for being one of our staples of fine dining!

We love Holly Hill! And we try to visit it as much as we can. However, this experience fell short of our expectations. I had pan seared prime rib, which was extremely tough and nearly impossible to eat. I ended up leaving half of it on my plate. I can pan fry steaks at home. For the price and the quality of this restaurant, I was expecting something a little bit more higher class. My wife had chicken, which was raw. We brought this to attention of the server, and we ended up receiving a refund (adjustment) on our bill. Again, for the price, we expect a cooked chicken. Just for the reference, the chicken was still bleeding and cold. My wife and I ended up stopping at another restaurant after our Holly Hill visit, because we both left hungry.

This is a lovely restaurant, but unfortunately our entree dishes came to us very cold. This was unfortunate as the eggs benedict dishes were very tasty, but not enjoyable cold. We did mention this to our server but there was no offer to improve the situation.

We've been to Holly hill inn both for a themed Kaiseki dinner that was outstanding but this review, I want to feature their take home New Year's Eve menu. This menu was $80 for enough food for two. The food even lasted into the next day. Started with delectable kale salad and tomato and artichoke soup. A boule bread bowl came with perfectly seasoned olive oil and aged balsamic. Following, the mains were a vol au vent with the most perfect shrimp and lobster newburg and a short rib with roasted vegetables and a delicious jus. We were so stuffed we couldn't finish dessert until a few hours later. A moist jam cake with blackberry topping. It was a beautiful meal.

Went to HHI for our anniversary. Will not return. The food was not good. Definitely not worth $70 for the 4 courses. The Coq Au Vin chicken dish was tough and my vegetarian arepas dish was mostly garlic. The atmosphere was boring and you could easily hear everyone's conversations. Please rethink going to this restaurant, as it is overpriced. Next time we will go to Azur or Carson's.

Holly Hill, chef, Hannah Arvin, never ceases to amaze us. Her food is creative, local and always spot on. The NYE menu was a wonderful combination of chicken, fish and beef dishes; no portion too big or too small and all delectable. The wine list is excellent and there are values to be had. Service is comfortable and practiced. Holly Hill continues to be one of our local favorites.
