I moved to G Town a few months ago - I order on the app almost every week and these dudes take care of me. I don't tip (who does?) but it's good every time I pick it up. I'm sure there's high turnover but the guys working right now are solid.

Horrible sandwich making. Just thrown on the bread. Sloppy without any care. Some of the guys working there are not fluent in english, so they do not understand what you are saying or asking. When you spend $10-15 on a meal and the sandwich isn't made to your specifications, it is very frustrating. The staff are friendly, but the language barrier and the horrible food prep is a problem. I have been here three times now, and I will not be back for a fourth.
That having been said, the restaurant is clean and is located in a convenient location right off the highway.

Number one: if you don't understand English very well you probably should not be taking an order. I wanted the meat (double steak, regular cheese) cooked first so it would be hotter prior to toasting. But no matter how many times I said this he continued to put it on the bread. So it got toasted twice and the bread got a little to crispy in some spots. Second, the meatball was not enough to cover bread and there was no sauce making it very dry. Food was just ok. Sad to say would have rather not.
Place was pretty clean.

I have gone to this subway for several years. Sometimes I get carry out for myself and family. My usual is just a foot long portion of rotisserie chicken. I get this for my senior dog as a treat. I have never paid the same price. I went in a few days ago and was told by the person that is usually there. She charges me for meat. Which is usually about $5 and some change. I was informed by the staff that unless I paid for an entire sandwich that I would not be served. This was the message that came from the owners. It was also said that i argued with the staff. YOU HAVE SECURITY CAMERAS WITH MICROPHOnE Recordings . LISTEN TO THE EXCHANGE. Begin with the fact that your two male employees camt speak enough english to take an order for a foot long portion of meat. Much less, why would pay for food that i would not be receiving. I am choosing to go to subway. I can go anywhere else on this road as there are restaurants along both sides of the street. But the reason I came to the restaurant was the service I always got from Jeana. But if you want to do business like this, go ahead. It is healthier for me to go to McDonald's or KFC, than to worry if your employee gets in trouble for treating me as a customer and not just the next dollar walking in the door.
