So glad this opened in Morehead. Definitely the best spot for a steak as the competition is lacking. Other than price, no complaints. Filet has consistently been cooked to perfection. We frequent during non-rush times, so parking, wait and service have been excellent every time. Very good selection of appetizers. I'd definitely recommend.

Today I ordered a 12oz ribeye, potatoes, and chocolate cake for my dog who had to be put to sleep. It's been one of the hardest days for my family. Cattlemans went above and beyond for us. not only did they cut the steak up for my furbaby they also refused to take my payment. Thank you so much for the kindness you showed my family on such a hard day.

I had one of the best dinning experiences tonight. I have been in the food service industry as a chef for over 20 years. We were greeted with smiles and good energy as soon we entered the building. We were invited to sit in the bar area being there was a 45 min wait. We did not feel as though we were sitting at “the bar” and were able to enjoy an amazing meal in a great atmosphere. Our food came out quick and my steak was cooked to perfection. The service was hands down, the best part of our experience. The attentiveness we received from our servers, Braden and Harlan was unbelievable. Not once, did we have to ask for anything. I will be asking for seating at the bar every time we eat at Cattleman’s just to have those two amazing gentlemen serve us again!

We love Cattleman's, usually. Tonight we went at dinner, we usually go at lunch. The "special" was country fried steak. I figured it would be good a place that serves really good steaks. It was barely OK. It was a very thin pre-made pattie like something I could take out of my freezer at home. The gravy was very thin and flavorless like something out of a can. The mashed potatoes were just OK as well. If you can't do better than this, then you shouldn't have country fried steak on the menu. I don't go out to eat to get the same stuff I could make at home in the air fryer and microwave.
