Long John Silver's | A&W

Went after they remodeled. Expecting the same thing. However, I ordered 3 pieces of chicken and fries for $24. I got 1 piece of chicken 2 pieces of fish and shrimp. I don’t eat fish but I love their chicken. So it was a disappointment to see that they ruined something that has been working for years. Along with changing the fries to waffle fries and they wasn’t even cooked all the way.

Terrible place they just spent all summer remodeling and it is still a hour long wait. I can’t tell you want the food tastes like because we waited in line for 40 minutes and the only time the line moved was when someone got tired and just left we ended up leaving before we could order.

Hush puppies was gross so hard bout could use them as a hammer green beans was a huge no unless you like cigarette ashes do not recommend

Don’t even waste your time and money going here. After months of renovation and a week of seeing the drive thru backed up, I decided to get what I’d been waiting for- Long John Silvers.
I waited over an hour, got up to the speaker to order and the speaker is seemingly broken. Get to the window to order, I ordered 2 of the 3pc chicken meals. For sides I asked for fries and coleslaw. The cashier said they had no slaw, ok fine. I asked for honey mustard with the chicken meals and the cashier said okay. Ordered my daughter a fish kids meal with a side of green beans. Pay $30 for this food, get the drink then I’m asked to pull forward and wait. The same cashier that took my order brings the food out, I asked her if they put the honey mustard in the bag and she tells me that they don’t have any and have never that she knows of. Odd since I’ve gone to Long John’s since I was a kid and always got honey mustard. I get the food home and the chicken is lukewarm at best, hard and dry!! They gave us about 7 fries total between two $10 meals!! My daughter’s fish was overcooked and hard. The green beans had been covered in salt or seasoned with something high in sodium. A huge waste of time and money!! Tried to call the store and complain, they won’t answer the phone.

This L.J.S. is the worst of the bunch, Just past it by on your way to Captain D's. In Mt.Sterling ky.
I've tried many times to give this l.j.s. a chance but always the same this place is Horrible

Servers were friendly! Store was clean! Service was fast! Food quality was horrific. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING was fresh... it had definitely been sitting 30+ minutes. Change your grease! Fries were a soggy pile of overly salted, greasy mush. The shrimp were so dehydrated they were inedible (the dog gave up and wouldn't even eat them). The fish was not salvageable. Dumped malt vinegar and lemon juice on it trying to rehydrate it but it was too far gone. They forgot the green beans, so I was handed a partial container of cold, dry, green beans that looked like someone had eaten most of them... then they slapped a lid on it and handed it to me. We waited forever for this location to be overhauled... for this? Should've left it closed... tried eating, took it to go, and went to Wendy's. Thanks for wasting our time. If you have any shred of an idea of what good, fresh food tastes like, I'd avoid throwing your money away on this place.

Never going back. Spent 30 mins waiting on my food. When I got home I realized I was missing half my order. I paid $70. Drove 20 mins out of my way to go back and get the rest of my order. One of the workers running front of house practically called me and my wife liers while we were waiting for the rest of the order.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Waited OVER AN HOUR just to get burnt food that was way smaller than ever before. The staff was very rude to customers wanting a refund after waiting so long on their food! The old crew definitely needs brought back or this place needs to close their doors for good. The food isn’t fit for any human or animal!!!!!

I don’t recommend any food at long John’s in Morehead I ate there today it was horrible my fish was burnt up the waffle fries were black and hard uneatable also I took mine and my partners back in told them my fish was burnt up and my partners piece of chicken was about a inch wide and a inch long the manager said oh it’s technically a pice of chicken right he did give me two pieces of fish but hell I don’t see why the taste of it was burnt just as bad as the first one I got it all went into the trash never again will I eat from there rude management sorry excuse for a work crew can’t get orders right and what they serve u is not fit to feed a stray animal

I hope you brought something to read and filled up your tank, because you're going to be waiting a while. If there's 2 cars in front of you, you're looking at around an hour long wait after ordering. Even if everything was being made to order at this location, fries and fish do not take nearly that long to cook. I've been to surrounding LJS locations, and as far as I can tell, the long wait times are unique to this store.

Had to wait at the window for over 30 minutes, I had to wave down someone to talk to, when I told them I was late for work I finally got my COLD food & missing my hush puppies! Thanks long johns I had to eat yogurt for dinner.

Went in for lunch order the 2 fish meal took 45 minutes to get my food and then when I did get it it was as cold as ice not joking about that would not recommend anyone to eat here ever if I wanted to get sick from cold fish I'd go catch the fish from the lake and eat it straight from the lake
