I hope you brought something to read and filled up your tank, because you're going to be waiting a while. If there's 2 cars in front of you, you're looking at around an hour long wait after ordering. Even if everything was being made to order at this location, fries and fish do not take nearly that long to cook. I've been to surrounding LJS locations, and as far as I can tell, the long wait times are unique to this store.

Had to wait at the window for over 30 minutes, I had to wave down someone to talk to, when I told them I was late for work I finally got my COLD food & missing my hush puppies! Thanks long johns I had to eat yogurt for dinner.

Went in for lunch order the 2 fish meal took 45 minutes to get my food and then when I did get it it was as cold as ice not joking about that would not recommend anyone to eat here ever if I wanted to get sick from cold fish I'd go catch the fish from the lake and eat it straight from the lake

Waited 45 minutes for 2 fish combos THAT WE NEVER GOT. Worst service I’ve ever seen in my life. An entire restaurant full of people waiting on their food, and not one worker said it would be any bit of a wait. 0/10.

Slowest drive thru in Morehead, been here 2 times in the last week an both waits was stupid long. 16min and 21 min after ordering. 2 fish, 6 shrimp meal, an 3 fish meal and still didn't come out hot was salty as heck an greasy. Wife use to work at LJ in Mt Sterling and she said she'd fire all the cooks if she was manager bc it should never take this long and only some of the stuff is made to order like shrimp... But the cod an chicken, fries hush puppies ECT sides are made in bulk an kelp warm. No reason a wait should never be more then 6-7 minutes... Would also lay off on the salt so much bc it's salty as heck this last time there

This is the slowest fast food restaurant on the planet, I’ve been sitting in line now for 20 minutes and only 1 of the 3 people ahead of me has gotten their food. If it continues at this rate I will have waited 120 minutes on my food. This is not the first time either, I’ve eaten her 3 times this year and my wait has been at least 15 minutes and I was the only person in line when it took 15 minutes. I’m pretty sure they caught the fish in Alaska and walked it to Morehead Ky before cooking it.
This is unacceptable!!!!!
Girl at the window said they had to cook to order because they were changing the oil, only thing I can figure is they must change the oil all day long !!!
It’s really sad because if they don’t get this fixed soon they will be out of business.
I don’t plan to shop at this location ever again!!
This is the third time I have edited this post, after the little girl at the window told me they were changing the oil and the food was made to order. I had anticipated my food being absolutely blistering hot. Well guess what it definitely wasn’t. I ordered cheese curds, and they were barely warm, and unfortunately, very greasy, the rest of the food was warm enough to eat, but again, if it was freshly made to order, I would have anticipated it being much hotter. Again, I will not eat here again.
Management has contacted me and assured me that the orders are made to order and apologized and is trying to rectify the time issue so I look forward to seeing if this takes care of the time problem!!!!

Always takes About 15 mins to get food, but it's always fresh

Waited in the drive thru for almost 49 minutes and only had two cars in front of me… RIDICULOUS!!!!!

This is the place to go they are so kind, and we are thankful for their kindness and fast service. We were their for my aunts 93rd birthday this is her favorite place to eat. Our aunt eats here every year for her birthday. That says a lot. we were taking pics, and they never had a problem with us, and the manager was kind enough to take a family pic for us. This was on May 10,2025, at around 11:30/ 12:00. So if you'rere in the area, stop in and eat the service fast and kind. Again, thank you all for helping us make here day special.

The girl at the register was more interested in chewing her nails then talking my order I had to keep repeating myself. And while I understand a little wait can happen 10 mins for my food come up and another 7 for them to give it to me because the woman in the back told her to wait and serve another order first. Ridiculous!
