Melini Cucina is easily my go-to spot whenever I’m in Morehead. The food is always on point, and the service has been consistently warm and attentive every time I visit.
On my most recent trip, I ordered the baked ziti and my dad had the chicken parm—both were outstanding. The ziti was baked to perfection with just the right amount of cheese and sauce, and the chicken parm was tender, crispy, and loaded with flavor. They clearly don’t cut corners here....

Pre-meal bread was AMAZING. Would have been nice with seasoned olive oil instead of marinara, but still an excellent bread. I wasn't as impressed by the Chicken Francese. It was good, just not prepared like I've ever had it. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would still return to try other dishes.
Server brought bread and sauce to the table…it was okay better if it had been warm.
Dishes were okay:
-chicken fettuccine alfredo ✅
- chicken parm ✔️noodles rubbery and
(Not enough sauce)
-calzone ✔️ huge all sort of ingredients
thrown in… too much pepperoni , soupy
on the inside, and the cheese was in
clumps and hard to chew.
Waitress was nice.
